When we die, it's also the world who dies to us.
Time track ceases - it says, end of the road, please get out now !

And maybe then we find ourselfes in a huge train station of time lines and like waking from the dream of being caught in one direction where the future and past are kinda parallel tracks that seem real only in our memories, dreams and hopes.

I believe we already are in the time-less, space-less condition. The time-less condition appears way larger - in a sense of consciousness - than the time-bound one. I believe this is where time (and space) is created and set forth to manifest, and with it comes all the experience we make as individuals on our individual journey.

Still, everything is here ... and that means beyond time and space.

And so, this is where we are all the time anyway, each and every second and right now as you sit here reading, you actually sit in the time-less realm where at the very same moment you create time; climbing down the spiral ladder of your DNA, you set it into motion; and with it you set the whole world into motion, into a rhythmic, drunken dance, and this includes the most distant galaxies, as well as the screen in front of you - literally everything you are aware of, no matter how big or how small. Space is just energy as well.

The little Self is the one standing in awe, sometimes struggling at his best, yet maintaining the sense of being separate while he carries within the seed of a greater reality.

And then all the wonderful things happen that are your life with all its strange contradictions, and also questions like this one (as well as such wordy answers).

What happens when we die ? I think we simply switch awareness. All the rest falls into place. Still, maybe we don't really have to wait with switching.

Bear with me for the long post

    :)

I cant understand if you are all privelaged to information that I am dissalowed
Ive never had anything in life suggest to me at all that a mind continued after death. Never. The closest thing is someone reporting to communicate with some spirit to recieve information they could not have possibly known. But ive only heard of this on the internet.
Where do you get these feelings from?

I have had many intuitive dreams in my life, a few of them foretold of events yet to come. I've learned to trust my dreams and use them as a guide. Many years back I had a vivid dream very clear in meaning. I was in a place between lives and a large round room filled with people that I considered wise, people that I looked up to. Someone walked up to me, gave me a file and said here's your next life. All I remember from the dream was my reaction as I looked inside the file and said no way, I won't do it. Then someone took the time to explain to me that although this life may not seem very appealing it is actually in your best interest as this life is your best option for your souls journey. Many times in life I felt like I deserved better when I got the short end of the stick. This dream helps me understand and accept this.

This dream has help me out in life in so many ways. Not only did this dream confirm my beliefs of life after death it also gave me strength for when life gets hard and I may wonder what it is this all for.

I know this for sure, there is nothing to be afraid of. Without death there would not be life therefore in order to embrace life we must embrace death.

    StonerBill,

i think all we have to rely on are our own feelings, dreams, intuitions; yet these are all non-transferable. Other than that, there's no information as to what will happen to us in the moment of passing on. All there is, is experience ... and you may read about anothers, but it's all still vicarious second-hand tales.
And some communicate with spirits, some went through near death experience (like i did), some dream, some meditate. And some just walk in the awareness ... even as some walk in deep sleep, ready to wake any moment.

Still all we can do is share; and this may or may not trigger your own sense of what dying means ... as well as what it means to be born and thrown right into the middle of what we call life.

Just imagine there's no information either about what will happen tomorrow or in ten minutes or in five seconds from now on ... there are schedules yet no there is no guarantee. Instead, there's an abundance of experience ... and there's the unknown staring right at you through any pair of eyes you meet in full awareness, beyond the pidgeon-holes we're so used to as a pattern of thinking.
And if you go with a deeper sense of what life is and the experience of it, you may find it is not really to be fathomed either, and this may apply to all of your existance including death. I believe each has access to the hidden sources inside just each in their own way.

To approach death (and find he walks closer than any other being) is to approach and to understand life as much. What a wonderful opportunity.

Good points in this thread, thank you all !
