Whatever we call it and how ever we choose to show it is up to each of us, but if a person makes an effort on your behalf, then I feel that it’s just simply NICE to make one back.

I can't lie, it has been amusing.

 

I ain't got no manners or nuttin' and I'm a yahoo-no wait even worse- a hooligan- no- a yahooligan. I ain't gunna say pleez cuz it ain't got no gramaterical funkshun.

 

Guy shoulda said thank you, but I think manners are pretty shallow in a lot of situations.

And much more to the point, most of the people I really hear about bitching about the travesty of manners are old southern white people. Yeah I might not always wave at the mail man, but I don't spit on mexican people for drinking from 'my' fountain.

Those we're real great manners we've given up. I'm glad we live in a honest society where everyones kind of a jerk then a sexist, racist society were everyone said waved 'morning.

 

You know what's funny is that I actually have people shocked that my kids have such good manners, that they're so polite, considering how so many kids are these days.

Politeness may be dead to some, but it's not with me, OR my kids.

 

i dunno, most kids i know are WAY more polite than their parents.
