What group or type of people do you dislike most?

Since you ask: I basically like self-reliant people who mind their own.

Oh, man. And you lived in a part of the country where there's lots of them, right? I just had far too many bad experiences with Indians to ignore the obvious trend. I could say they have a tendency to get one over you and cut in line. But I could say the same about the Chinese, and I have nothing against them.

But, if you do the above and you import some bullshit caste mentality with you...then we're going to have a problem. Therein might lie the riddle between our different experiences: I'm not white.

Edit: I should mention though, that I have met about 3 Indians in life with whom I've had friendly exchanges. I'm not closed off to new experiences. But I'm not going to sit here and be all wishy-washy and politically correct about it, either.

Well, this thread is getting long, and I only tune in periodically. I'm sarry. But I really did think you were Indian.

Lots and lots. Between the Koreans, Vietnamese, Blacks, Hispanics, Arabs and Indians.. I was the minority. But hey at least it taught me to be tough. The Indians were always innocuous though, as far violence and general tomfoolery. They are definitely just out to get the cash though at any expense. Much like Asians, except Asians have the violent/forcible crime factions that are just really not cool.

But it might be because I live on an island with a couple hundred thousand laid back folk now that it doesn't bother me. 5 million high strung people was definitely too much, and at that point in my life most everyone bothered me. That's why I'm here.

And yeah, you're not white. But I have always had a closer human connection with South Americans than Central American or anywhere else, more than likely even Europe. Shit, even my mom lives in Colombia most of the time (she's a historian), and has many people there that consider her family.

But some of those Indian chicks are smoking hot. And they come with cows and land? Nice.

 

But I just saw your post that you aren't white. I actually have no idea why I even assumed you weren't white, just took it for granted. Did you used to have pics up back in the day or something?

 

Back when I used to work at weddings, I saw some BEAUTIFUL Indian brides. Like, I'm not even kind of a lesbian but...shit. Goddess-like.

The men weren't half bad either. And they sure know how to party--and drop a ton of dough.

When I was working in retail travel Indians used to drive me freaking insane. They are the most annoying people by far to book flights for - they will sit there for four hours, making you do every single possible combination in order to save $4.

In my current travel job I don't have any Indian clients. Outside of the travel business I find them a very friendly, well educated people with a vibrant culture and delicious food.

 

I cannot for the life of me understand how anyone can dislike a whole race of people. Its insane.

 

From an evolutionary standpoint, it is built into us.

However natural selection has also directed the development of our brains to a point where we can logically understand that even though individuals can be similar to other individuals of the same race, culture or region, they are still indeed individuals with different paths of sentient experience. We are also capable of understanding that even if a group - that is different from one or more groups that we as individuals identify with - has beliefs, customs or appearances that seem foreign, that doesn't mean that we are right and they are wrong - it just means a difference exists.

 

The fact that most races are different is what makes them so interesting in the first place. And no one should be tarred with the same brush. There's good and bad in everyone .

They and Muslims are just about the only kind of chicks I haven't tagged. Now you know the real reason why I hate them.
