What exactly are you seeing when you trip?

Personnally i think it has something to do with the lenses of your eyes, and floaters etc. Like looking through the lens and actually seeing its membranes and physical makeup. Me and a friend noticed this at a festival last summer, we could both see the 'membranes'. But, its up for interpetation, deep issue. .peace.

 

Why do we have crazy dmt alien archetypes implanted in our system? Mmm and they are there in exceptional detail.

If you can mistake parts of your eye for hallucinations... or even compare them... you've got some buuuuuunnnnnkkkk shit....

 

I actually agree with you, in so far as I believe the floating particles on the surface of the eye are responsible for a considerable amount of the flowing waves across ones vision. The brains attempt to 'complete the picture' as PB says while the picture is constantly moving, with each particles affect on vision increased exponentially by the current state of the brain.

 

I know from experiencing different trips from different substances.... The Eye lens isnt always effected to have significant hallucination ..
just as the spotty dots you see from low doses of benadryl, the eye isnt effected at all til some higher doses, this also depends on the light level .. Inside my home I could trip balls in another world, walls melting into the furniture go outside and there is just shallow visuals only accumulating on distant object, find a shady spot and the visuals can be more intense.. This not always true on good acid, shroom during a peak in the daylight shit will get fucked up..

same goes for the tunnel vision from nitrous oxide, and other inhalants that cause visual disturbances.. they may not do anything but cause the eyes to get glassy, and wet, dry... ect...

 

I see my self and reality through an emotional lens.

 

things generally get all wavy, buildings/vertical objects bend.... i had one trip off 3 hits, right after i smoked my bubbler this tree i was staring at being to fold in half and keep growing and repeating the process. then when i walked back inside i have no other way of explaining this but comparing it to what frodo sees when he puts the ring on everything gets all faded and whatnot, good times.

i dont know if its just me, but smoking changes the entire trip for me. makes it waaaay more intense and adds another larger element of mindfuck to it

 

I dosed some acid for the first time the other day at a festival as well, and I understand exactly what you're saying. All the little bits of shit that get stuck in your eye juice were moving around every time I looked somewhere else, and the waving of cells and stuff. Then it went ape shit and I can only describe it as falling into another dimension? but I'll stop there other wise I'm going to be raving on about my trip for the next 4 pages of this topic

Just like when you first smoke pot, you see the floaters in your eyes. But those are NOT the hallucinations, and do NOT look like them. In fact, I find them rather aggravating, when I'm trying to enjoy my trip and maybe read/write online or something that involves hand/eye coordination. I hate how they center themselves where you're focusing and won't got the fuck away for very long.

 

Nah, I had an ok dose - not extreme cos I've read some amazing trip reports that were far beyond anything I had.
I roughly estimate about 300ug
1 sugar cube which was around 100ug, then I topped up every few hours with 1 whole tab, then another 2 halves.

Fell into some strange places though, and loved every minute of the 9 years I was stuck in my head

I just wanted to ease myself into it, fairly experienced with salvia but since the peak only lasts about 5 minutes, acid's a lot more time to be completely fucked and not knowing what's happening.
Only other trip was a small dose of shrooms about a year ago, around 40-50 liberty caps. Season starts soon so I'm gonna dose a load of those little guys so I can compare it them to this newest and most profound experience

 

Any trip in which the floaters in your eye play enough of a roll that you say you understand what someone was talking about when the attributed LSD visuals to physical happenings in your eye was NOT 300µg.

 

No you're completely right and you've proved you know what you're on about, that was when I first dosed on the 100ug. I dropped the rest in the next 10 - 12 hours after that. But does it really matter?

It is still an effect of LSD which you certainly see on the come up towards the full trip is it not?

 

So really your dose was 100ug. Later on you ate what amounted to -maybe- 50ug, then -maybe- 25ug, etc. Spreading doses out like that is such a waste of beautiful lsd!

a real 300ug trip is difficult to walk and talk against the barrage of complete hallucinatory wonders. For example hofmanns first intended LSD trip was 250ug, and it was in his own words "very, very, very strong."

Not harping on your experience but you're making it sound like the little eye floaters you see on the comeup to one hit of ok stuff is the meat of the LSD visual experience the world can turn into a liquid rainbow on a good dose :drool5:
