Well now .......................... it seems the "clear-thinking heads" of the REPUBLICAN PARTY want to band the states together that support Trump and secede from the United States and form a new nation. The "claim" is that only they follow election laws and laws in general. Wasn't there an attempt to secede from the Union once before ............... back around 1860 or so .............. with many of today's (still) xenophobic and racist ideologies???

(Putin and Xi are having non-stop orgasms over these developments. Anyone following the ever-increasing military build-ups / test-firing of missiles from various mobile platforms, of Russia and China, and their outward pushes into free, democratically-elected countries and international waters??????) The political chaos and in-fighting here in the U.S, make us EXTREMELY VULNERABLE right now .............. wouldn't you say??? How secure do you feel after learning that Kelly-Anne Conway was appointed to a leading Pentagon post, along with other Trump loyalists with NO - NO - that's right - NO military or national defense experience at all.

What a magnificent display of ignoring the Constitution, the long-standing REPUBLICAN mantra of states' rights to run their own elections (which ALL STATES DID - which sadly included extensive voter suppression efforts and actions taken by ............ who else ............. THE REPUBLICAN PARTY), the U.S. Supreme Court's refusal to even hear the case brought by Texas and Trump (despite having a conservative majority in it) and the opinions of legal scholars from both parties and all around the country.

But hey ............ you can't ignore the "expert" Constitutional and State election law knowledge of that most reliable of all resources ................. my buddy. "My buddy says ........................." "Most of my buddies think................" "Pete over at the car garage says .................. "

Yesterday - as luck would have it - some years earlier VIDEO-TAPED comments by none other than Ted Cruz were shown on TV. Cruz was speaking about Trump before he ran for president. Cruz said Trump is a pathological liar - almost every word Trump says is a lie, and that Trump is a narcissist, only caring about himself - not the country or anyone else. Ironic how Cruz has crawled so far up Trump's a$$ that he's looking at Trump's tonsils from the underside now. Cruz was correct about Trump in his assessment the first time.

How IS IT that so many Americans cannot see through Trump's false front???

Pascrell accused the House members who signed an amicus brief supporting the action — including House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) — of violating the Constitution by seeking to nullify Americans’ votes and instead choose a “dictator.” He cited Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, enacted after the Civil War and designed to keep traitors out of government.

You're right democracy is hard to define, but sedition is not, and that's exactly what those 126 republicans were trying to do.

Calling oneself a Christian ............ doesn't mean you actually ARE one. To be a Christian means to try to emulate Jesus ( the Christ ........ it's His title - NOT His last name! ) - to follow his teachings - as best you can. NOWHERE does Jesus tell and teach any of his disciples to hate others .......... for ANY REASON. Jesus himself talked to, ate with, and stayed with people who were NOT Jews - as he himself was. Samaritans were polar opposites to Jews, but Jesus interacted with Samaritans - which caused his disciples to balk and question Him.

I've never read in any Scripture passage where Jesus taught his followers to hate & despise other people because of their skin color, their ethnicity, or their faith (whatever THAT was - or if they even HAD faith of any kind). But today's arrogant Americans - mostly the white ones ........... and I'm white - seem to attach a thought process to Jesus that He NEVER taught or approved.

So the title of "Christian" - is NOT a label only. It's the way a person lives and conducts his or her life and behavior. And actions speak louder than words ........... ANY words - screamed with hate in the heart or whispered in secret behind closed doors.

I'm still waiting for some of the Trump LEMMINGS to - you know - start shooting at sensible, thinking Americans ........... "law-abiding, law & order, true Constitutional believers" that they claim to be. I'm a 2nd amendment guy, but those rights aren't to be used to circumvent the Constitutional rights of American voters and who they've chosen for leaders. The U.S. is a free democracy - NOT an autocracy.

If any of these clowns start shooting over Trump being voted out ( I like FIRED! ), that would be called - ACCURATELY - sedition and treason ................ and MURDER.

What I find stunning and troubling is this .............. police shooting rubber bullets, tear-gassing, and hitting peaceful protesters with batons ................ while doing NONE of those things to ARMED, ANGRY, VIOLENT & OUTWARDLY THREATENING right-wing nut-job militia types. Peaceful assemblies and protests are GUARANTEED in the U.S. Constitution !!!! Not all peaceful protests were riots - as some idiots have proclaimed. Riots are riots - whole different thing. But even the peaceful protests were harassed by cops all around the country by the above-noted methods. TV cameras captured all of that.

So what is to be made of our CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT to peacefully protest?? Are we now an autocratic, police state where we should just sit still, keep our mouths shut and stay out of sight??? Whose side are those types of police ON - the CONSTITUTION'S ................ or the right-wing extremists??

 

So how do you determine who is on your side in the civil war? Ask the vets from Vietnam or Iraq and they will say it's not easy. The person who pretends to like you in the daylight may be a rebel spy who is friendly to gather intel. A lot of white English speakers voted for Biden and I feel like they will trust race and language above all else. They aint Muslim and they sound like they are from Texas so they must think like me

Soon after the election some of them were marking houses with Biden signs with a blue X but all you have to do is sprat paint every house blue. Liberals own guns too and I guarantee those militias are having the same discussions the right wing is. The left just does not post it on social media. My theory is the average Trump fanatic will only trust people who have come to the same meetings he has for 10 years. This is one of the main reasons the FBI has not taken them seriously until now. They don't have the ability to have a large cohesive resistance because nothing but the past can prove anything. So, it's only a matter of time before they attack each other for being a "antifa spy" or something like that. Small groups and individualism are baked right into Republican thinking. Once the group gets big you can't be as free because you must compromise and agree to disagree for the sake of everyone. They prefer small towns and small militias.

 

These people are nuts! And dangerous! Here in the reddest of red states, most of my friends are Trump-supporting Republicans, but mellower than the ones I read about elsewhere. Most of them don't stay well-informed, so haven't gotten into the "stolen election" mode of thinking. If push came to shove, I think we'd stick together against the rest of the world, as we always do.
