I believe in reincarnation. So, I think that when we die, our souls are free to roam the earth until the time we are reborn again.

When we die we just shed our shells our spirits are still here. How those spirits relate to one another and God is up to us. Will we spend a long time looking at our lives going over and over wondering why we didn't keep good karma. Do we want to spend what will feel like an eternity shell-less (and unable to change our past) and stuck looking at our lives and knowing we did wrong or will we be spending an eternity with other brothers and sisters enjoying and knowing we did all we could while we were here trying to make this world a better place for those who have yet to come here or the many other worlds around this universe. Noo i am not here for my immediate gratification but to serve above and build that spiritual bank account that will carry me into the next world

when we have dejavue's as young kids or young teens we are actually remembering from whence we came and to where we will return but if we lose contact with that thinking we can get lost in this world and become real jerks and we may never get back to where we came from. we may spend what seems like an eternity wondering why we did what we did while we were here and why didn't we realize we had originally came here to make this life better but got caught up on the superficiality of life and lost contact from whence we came

I like to think we're on an endless journey, with an infinite number of worlds to explore. If we do well in a life and love others, our next world will be more beautiful and more magnificent than the previous. And we keep going, to new adventures, to new challenges, to new realms of creation and new definitions of reality, as we spend all of eternity approaching that universal infinity that is pure love and light.

I'd hope to come back as a total stud, but I'm likely to end up on a snow tire in Alaska....

Energy never ceases , nor can it be destroyed . It can only change forms and mutate into something else . Our basic essence is electrical energy and light . Like the butterfly we emerge from one realm of reality to another , to begin a new and different journey . This is not our real home . I think sometimes we have it backwards . I think we the " living " are dead . And the "dead" are really the living . I think it's all illusion here , and when you die you are judged by your actions and experience here . At that point i think you either go on to a higher plane of existence , or you are born again into the world . I think we live and live again until we get it right . But i also think a lifeform can go so wrong that it can be cut off from the love and light of God . To spend eternity alone . I believe we are sent here to experience negativity and suffering . The goal is to stop your suffering by having compassion for all other life . Like the flower growing towards the light of the sun , It either lives in the light , or gets choked out by the other weeds in the garden . That steals its light , and destroys the flower . It's all about light , love and helping our fellow man . We were given free will . To choose for ourself . If we believe in and submit to God , or try to become Gods ourself . It's the ones who don't believe in anything that I feel bad for . I see God in EVERYTHING !!!!!!

One things for sure , we are all going to find out . Cause ain't none of us getting out of here alive !

And I really believe that there are no atheists in hell .

I think one of many things might happen. You have your life flash before your eyes as your consciousness retreats through your brain's neural net, passing by various nodes and important receptors. After that... bringing into mind that there's enough time for that to happen or your body is still intact... just saying, there's a lot of ways to die... After that, I believe either you just poof and you're gone, your brainwaves or soul or whatever just vanishes from existence, or you go to some happy or evil place depending on your values and morals and what your life is summarized to. Aside from all the religious nonsense everyone talks about and believes in (Not saying by any means that I disagree with anyone's beliefs) there could be some ethereal place of rest. If your mind leaves your body, where does it go? If it doesn't just vanish, it has to go somewhere.

My main belief tho is that you just poof out of existence all together. Which is one of the reasons I think suicide is such a poor option. I mean, I can understand sometimes if someone offs themself because they're trapped in a corner with nowhere to run... or you're pinned for something horrible that happened and there's no other way out than spending the rest of your life in a cell... I feel horrible for those who came before us that were placed in disgusting circumstances. But to all others out there, this could be the only ride we get, we might as well enjoy it to the fullest. Keep on truckin' and keep a grateful pace :D

I can relate somewhat to both Papawolfs and Terrapins ways at thinking what happens when humans die.

Betwixt the way I was raised and the way I've lived my life and when my numbers up I would like something like this. The beautiful white light. No more arthritis in my legs and hips. I get to see and talk to my Dad who I lost in '92. Brand new teeth and a nine inch pecker. For those great BarbeQues down by the lake every Friday. We would all fill up on meat tater salad and slaw and good beer. Then we would wander over to the dance floor where EVERBODY knows automatically how to dance and NO ONE dances like Elaine (on Seinfeld). Everyone has a gorgeous body and everyone is horny. It don't matter what your orientation was on Earth. Everyone here is bi so no one here is ever lonely. The weed and hash here is the best you ever smoked. No one is addicted to tobacco here. All of the mean nasty in your face A-holes that ever in your old life f**ked with you are somewhere else.

There in some commie infested shit hole where a few thousand ugly as sin and stink to high heaven Dianne Feinsteins and Charley Schumers are packing AK-47s and Desert Eagle 357s while they are passing out marginal rations (left over from the 60s) Animal beer (yes that nasty weak beer), everything is broken and half the population is crying while the rest of them are complaining and the power and Zoloft dispensers just went down for the 7th time this week. And it's only Monday.

Or if I believed in Reincarnation which I don't I would come back as........a 1967 Peterbuilt sleeper. With a 10 speed Eaton, Jake brake, 1000 watt per channel killer sat linked FM CD/Cassette deck and a big ass Cat diesel. No need to carry chains as it never snows in Heaven...:D

I think that nothing happens. Your spirit just ceases to exist.

I believe that when a person dies, their spirit is still with us and they can help people *knows about some family experiences* and they can scare people too, depending on who the people are and how they treated them when they were alive etc.

I think our souls either go "somewhere", kinda like Valhala, or some such, where they can find peace, or they come back here, if there are still things they haven't learned in their former life. My two cents...:)
