Police statistics. Within the same source, which was on hardcopy, stated that most of the physical violence against women in the statistics was due to domestic violence. So yes, domestic violence included, men suffer more physical violence than women. The explanation given is that men are seen as financial targets.

Granted that some domestic violence goes unreported there are also alot of physical violence (against men) that go unreported due to egos, fear of further repercussions, gang violence, drunken violence.

 

"Whimp out" isn't a good view of suicide really. Women attempt suicide 4 times as often as men (but more being depressed.... whatever). I don't know that their more emotionally complex, and I seriously doubt it. They just have more influences than men (hormones, society) than men do and they don't have a social stigma. Women usually use pills or something like that to commit suicide which is why they fail so often. Men usually think about it alot longer than the women do before attempting suicide (emotionally complex?) and once they have made up their mind, they really try to kill themselves (guns usually).




Its really pointless to say this or that when comparing and contrasting women and men in today's society because of all the influences of society or all the factors that are messing with people.
