You've been to Gatherings in a different dimension than I've been to!

In answer to the original question, many Rainbows simply go back to their homes and jobs. Not all of us live on the road.

What I did at the two gatherings that I went to is I traded leaf print hand painted cloths and beadwork for art made by other rainbozos. I made new friends and prayed for peace. I did beadwork and macrame. I danced in the drum circles, I helped out in the kitchens and I went swimming a lot. When not attending i go to college, write, create art, make music and play video games with my son and his friends.

 

wow, rain bozo's,,, and calling yourself that. hmmm, oh well,,, back in my day when we used that term, it wasnt nice......

I never considered rainbozo's in a negative concept. I have heard it used in a negative way before; towards certain parasitic personalities that attended rainbow gatherings but not everyone uses the word that way. I was friendly with everyone at gatherings. After all it is a place to pray for peace and not to place judgement. I did see situations that were both positive and negative at gatherings but then again a gathering is like a tent city and you get people of all walks of life and some are even dangerous. This is why I always went with many friends. I did not really call myself a rainbozo. I have only been to 2 gatherings in my life and I am nearly 50 now. My mother was a deadhead. So I was born into the hippy culture.

It is very vague in a way. I know it's loosely affiliated but exactly where do you find Rainbow people? Nowhere on the net or anything. Anyone have any advice?

All are welcome,,, why dont ya just type in Rainbow at Google.... oh and watch out for the BS of Ocala, or Welcome Here,,, welcome here is a weird off shoot sorta,,,, there are those of us who truly do not appreciate their BS. Ocala Fl. is basically a road dog gathering, lots of alchohol, people get really hurt there. I hope it goes well this year though, be nice for a change. truth hurts but someones gotta do it!
If I were you, I would get my gear together and go to Montana this summer. There you will meet all you need to!

No seriously. I can't find one solid piece of info. No one in this area, no numbers, emails, nothing. I'm right near Bethel, NY. I always hear "we're everywhere" but where exactly is everywhere?

 

if you have no other contact come up before summer, please consider the national on the 4th of july, in Montana. It's one way to really connect with your region, there is a regional in August i think near Ithaca as well. good luck, hope ya find your way home!
