What did you last do outside?

i feel like 95% of trail walkers just smile and nod or say hi, or completely ignore you. i almost never see the rest of that range.

unless they have their dog. then either it barks at you like it wants you dead, and they say nothing. or it comes over super friendly and lets you pet it and they apologize like a friendly dog is a bad thing and pull it away.

 

i was walking back along coastpath with some driftwood i'd collected recently and these two girls coming the other way were all like
"HEY! where did you get that? what are you doing with it? where are you walking?!" and super friendly
and i was a bit stunned by it and wasn't nearly as friendly back as i would have been given five minutes to get used to it.
that was a moment of throwback awkwardness, like how i would have been ten years ago. usually now i just ask questions, so i think the fact they were asking questions threw me.

 

They were probably high.

I just walked across the street to get cigarettes and back. That's what I did outside last.

 

i walked down to the beach and jumped into the lake late last night. the air was pretty cold, but the lake is still warm so it was nice until i got out.

 

i just cycled/walked down to the cliffs and looked at the sea with my binoculars.

 

I went for a walk.

 

Walked to a dock by a little pond and sat a while

 

Fed cats

 

Walked across the street to get a coke.

 

Walked my dogs through some olive groves and picked up some olive wood.

 

Took out a mess of recycling.

 

Collected the mail. It was hot and humid.

 

Recharged our Ring doorbell and brought the American flag in for the evening.

 

Not Much.......It's 39c Here And Rising......Went To The Supermarket Early And Now I'm

Patting Myself On The Back For Buying A House With "Ducted Air-Cond".......

Been 41c Here For 4 Hours......Just Spent Time Outside Filling Up The Birdbath And Various

Water Bowls For The Birds......Going To Be An Over Night Of 26c.......Somebody Send Me
