I've tried ACV in water and I just can't get past the taste. I love vinegar in salad dressing, I usually just use oil and acv for my salad dressing. i pour so much vinegar on that I can drink it from the bowl afterwards and i can't get enough, but for some reason I can't stand acv water.

I like it. It gives the water some bite. You can also add some honey or maple syrup to it as well. I sometimes add a pinch of Himalayan pink salt to mine.

Looks nasty, but mind if I ask what is in that?

I usually avoid fake meat, but I bought those once on a whim. TERRIBLE. Unused box is still in my freezer.

    Ew.

    Would. Not. Eat.

I just read this on Wiki:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quorn

    Disturbing.

this is actually the first I've heard of Himalayan pink salt so I looked it up out of curiosity. I've been wanting to cut out table salt a bit because I find myself using it too much. I think I may have to check this out

    What's disturbing?

The reason I did not like them was because I eat them on their own. I also frazzled the life from them in a microwave. I was at work so my options (for preparation) were small.

Give them to a food bank. Or don't you think even desperate people would eat them?

I like a lot of the fake meat products....

They were so hard I couldn't even chew 'em. Plus, what Rat said made me wonder if they were fit for any human consumption. Bleh. I heard about the fungus thing before, several years ago, but I forgot until now.

I'm a vegetarian, but soy is lousy for you. Or, most of it is. I've gotten away from fake meat products, aside from the occasional veggie burger. If I don't want to eat animal flesh, why would I want to eat fake animal flesh?

I'll stick to real food. But, to each their own. I'm not going to come down on someone for eating fake meat. I just don't see it as being a healthy alternative, especially when so many of these fake meat products contain GMO soy and who knows what else.

Yeah. They were a little tough : /

    I only skimmed through that.
It was formulated by Imperial Chemical Industries - which sounds a bit wrong. :(
I've been eating 'Quorn' for about that 10 years, I'm still here!
It is only this I've not really liked.
Other 'Quorn' products have been lovely :)

Me too (for about 15 years)...
I wasn't looking for something that resembled meat (I'm not that kind of vegetarian).
I was just looking for something that wasn't full of salt and the wrong type of fat...(and was, obviously, meat free)
There isn't a hell of a lot of 'ready meals' for vegetarians (something easy to make at work)...

Frozen foods and fast foods are kinda the same, man. Unless you're talking about buying it from the outside stands at costco and that makes it fast food.

Organic dark roast coffee made with a french press (holy shit, so good) all day, then outback for dinner. I fixed the bartenders car so I eat there free for awhile. Free food is the best.
