Oh, I couldn't possibly enjoy it without the Mayo...to be fair, I wouldn't have both red sauce and mayo. The picture was just a representation, rather than a reconstruction - Google images failed me.

Mine would probably look more like:

    With mayo. Sorry.

    Yours more like:

I think we have had enough pic's to get the general idea :D

I had it again today, so I guess I'm still on topic.

It tastes lovely. Yum. Especially when the cheese has melted.

I made a decision. It was helped after living with a friend who's meat intake and cooking abilities made me feel sick.

He would have daily intakes of (pork scratchings):

He is still alive, and has changed his ways.

Is that cheese on french fries?
That seems like a very strange and yuckie combination to me.

Chips. The same as French fries but thicker.

I always use Maris Piper. No salt.

Nothing other than a cereal bar this morning before exams and quite a few drinks...

Most people actually don't eat their fish with fries over here. Nor do they fry fish.

It's great that you have such a good grasp of your cultural culinary idiosyncrasies.

The ultimate favourite – recommended by all Dutch men to be devoured just prior to going on a first date – Hollandse Nieuwe Haring (Raw Herring to you and me) with finely chopped onions. The Nieuwe is a bit of a misnomer, because they were caught earlier in the year then put on ice until later in the year when they were allowed to sell them. Yes indeedy, you can see the look of love in every Dutch girls eyes when she catches a great big whiff of raw fish and onions from her man!!

While it's a funny read and Dutch cuisine isn't exactly amazing, there are so many mistakes in that article.

For a start, we don't eat sandwiches with knife and fork. And pea-soup is generally made from scratch and not from a can.
A kroket isn't eaten at lunchtime often, just very few people do.

    Need I go on?
