I don't like cow's milk. I didn't like it as a kid either, my daughter also won't touch the stuff no matter what it's disguised in, but she will not drink any type of milk.

    Today I ate:

2 hard boiled eggs, a whole wheat bagel with cream cheese
    An apple with peanut butter
    A really spicy chicken kebab
A trail mix with pumpkin seeds, macadamia, almonds, Brazil nuts and raisins
    Mate
    Agua

Mostly because it's been pasteurized. Raw milk is much healthier, because it's not full of dead bacteria. Pasteurization might kill off some bad bacteria (which is rarely enough to make somebody sick if the cows are healthy cows), but it also kills off a lot of the good bacteria that are beneficial to good gut health. It also destroys a lot of the enzymes that aid in digestion, so a lot of people are lactose intolerant because of that, or they just have a hard time digesting dairy. So because of these things, most of the beneficial aspects of the milk are lost, and the bad things are made worse (increased allergies, mucous production, etc.) Plus, most commercial cows are fed grain and pumped full of hormones and antibiotics, so that makes their milk not very healthy. If you must drink milk, it should be raw milk. But since most people cannot easily obtain raw milk, it might be better to just avoid milk altogether. Or try to find organic milk from grass-fed cows, and preferably something from a small diary that uses vat pasteurization as opposed to the standard pasteurization process which uses higher temperatures for longer periods.

I try to avoid milk for the most part, but I do use it in my protein shakes. I use almond milk instead some days. It doesn't taste as good, but it doesn't have a lot of the nasty stuff in it that pasteurized milk does.

I ignore thumbs down and negative reps. It is beyond my comprehension why someone would draw desperate attention to one's self by whining about negativity.

F them if they want to hate you. It merely validates your worth.
