For breakfast I had a croissant and nettle tea.
For lunch I had grilled chicken breasts, and cabbage salad.
For dinner I shall have a yoghurt.

I also had an apple, and some almonds somewhere in between all those meals.

Coffee and bagel with cream cheese. I am going to make smoked sausages with perogies, cauliflower, pickled cabbage and a salad for dinner tonight. It is going to be good! :)

In the morning I ate half an everything bagel and light cream cheese.
I ate a probio mango yogurt with a small piece of banana bread.
I ate most of my sammich, which had two slices of organic ham with old cheddar, mustard, tomato and lettuce on whole wheat with flax bread.
I ate a red delicious apple and a small portion of sugar-free jell-o (meh).
For dinner I had pasta penne & macaroni (had to finish off two boxes!) in a portabello mushroom sauce with some beef meatballs au gratin with old cheddar. It was small and good.
I then ate 2 President's Choice chocolat chip cookies. Oh, my lord! You can buy these at Shopper's now! holy schmoly. Death by chocolat.

actually i don't think the last time i ate was today yet. so i think i better go make myself something. its another hour still before i should feed the cats and let the dogs out. and then another hour after that before everyone else in the house goes off to work and i go to sleep.

well since my last post, i really was hungry, i got up and made myself hamberger stroganoff. biled the noodles in my usual broth of bulion and lemon. then drained most but not all of that when they were ready, added hamburger and sour cream. easy cheesy without the cheese.

my breakfast was yesterday evening after everyoine else went to bed. i think it was something with hamburger and noodles too. this morning was my dinner, but i think it will be still a few hours before i go to bed.

My friend and I had the most scrumptious brunch…strawberry-chocolate Belgian waffles (decadent!), Montreal-style bagels, eggs sunny side up, hash browns and back bacon (peameal bacon)… doused in maple syrup. The breakfast of (Canadian) champions!

Oooh, that sounds like a heavenly brunch, Luce! Just add a piping hot cup of regular, no-nonsense coffee and it would be perfect.

Not sure about the peameal back bacon though, I haven't had that. My bad Canadian is showing. :blush5:

I should have specified that I had a sampling while he shovelled the rest in as if food were going out of style. Along with a huge cup of coffee. Biggest I've ever seen! But it was nice to get out a bit. Never had peameal bacon? No excuse for it. Unless you're Jewish. :p

Well, I am (Jewish), now that you mention it. Must have been my big nose that gave me away. ;) But I have no excuses, I've eaten plenty of other bacon. I won't let anything come between me and my :piggy:

It is nice going out for Sunday brunch, isn't it? Something fun to look forward to, it's fast becoming my favourite meal of the week.

Chinese eggroll with both sweet duck sauce and hot pepper sauce....One has to ask for the hot sauce....it is the red stuff with pieces of pepper in it, and they fill up a cup of it for you..The combo of the sweet/sour and the hot is out of this world, imo.
