Rough night yesterday?

 

I went to the VAG for lunch and I had a piece of strawberry chocolate cheesecake for dessert.

 

not any rougher than usual..


today i had a few boiled eggs ...they were good

i eat them outside and leave the shells for the birds

 

A lamb salad. Has garden salad, tomato, bit of pumpkin, cheese, cucumber and some lamb under a garlic lemon sauce.

 

That looks so good. I love lamb.

 

It was a good chance to use some of my leftovers up.

A whole bunch of cherries. They are so good!

 

I was alone tonight and nothing appealed so I ordered in Swiss Chalet.......it was yummy!

 

I'm assuming that is the vancouver art gallery, but teehee, vag.

 

Right? It made me giggle as well.

Went out with my girlfriend last night to ButaPub, which is a modern gastropub featuring some awesome beers and Asian-inspired food. I got the Korean fried chicken, which came with some of the best macaroni and cheese I've ever had, as well as sweet pickles and kimchi. The chicken was incredibly moist and juicy, and the sauce it was covered with is delicious, For dessert we got their specialty bourbon glazed donuts.

I meant to take a picture of my plate BEFORE I started eating, but as you can see, I forgot.

Kind of, yeah, I would say more of an Asian/American fusion, but yeah, fried chicken, mac and cheese and bourbon glazed donuts are pretty southern.

Last night I went to my favorite British pub for my favorite fish and chips EVER!!!

I could eat this every day and never get sick of it. Sofa king good!!

The Old Toad is one of my favorite places in Rochester to eat, drink beer and have a quiet conversation without a dozen televisions blasting.

I know right! That's how i often feel after visiting my fav 'snackbar' (dutch equivalent of a fish 'n chips shop). Well deep fried chips are glorious :cheers2:

 

Yesterday I went for Ramen with my family in Chinatown. I got a really spicy pork broth Ramen with lots of good toppings. Then we went to this Asian market that sells a ton of candies and junk food from japan so I could get a few of my favourite things! I got some kiwi gummy candies, green tea pocky and a package of square cookies full of a gooey green tea mixture. I'm munching on one of the cookies right now. It sort of reminds me of fig newtons but with a weird tea filling mixed into them with the fig.
