What Did You Eat Today That Was Delicious?

Gumbo with cornbread. And banana pudding, so much goddamn banana pudding. Ive been craving it for weeks so finally made a huge batch of it then right after I made it my boyfriend's grandma randomly dropped off a huge container of some she made. What a weird coincidence. And now we have way too much banana pudding.

 

My BBQ isn't caked with precooked food. No, by "too close to" I don't mean exactly like, just not that charbroiled taste you get with charcoal or wood.

That (somewhat charred) banana with the meal sounds great!

You could have got a really charred peel if you'd used a charcoal grill! :-D

I'm going to have to try that, I've never grilled a banana. I've done other fruit.

Today I found an uneaten sandwich inside a to-go box outside a nice restaurant. It was a fried chicken sandwich, still lukewarm. I ate it. It was very good. I will probably never get to eat it again.

 

Caprese salad, that's the only thing I had today.
So, so good.

I love eating grain bread as a sandwich and then after a simple but delicious ham, cheese, tomato and pickled mustard sammich, you have pumpkin seeds to fish from your teeth for the next 10mins.

It was 35 Celsius. One can't eat much under such difficult conditions!

But it's much colder today, so I'ma eat a steak.

Lmao it was 39c yesterday and I still ate a giant spicy burrito. It was cooler today so I was able to cook in the house without killing everyone and we had veggie topped pasta and fruit salad for dessert.

 

Sorry it was too easy. Potato!

Nothing.... I heated up some leftover pasta to eat before work and then dropped it all over the floor and the dogs ate it.... now I don't have time to make anything else before work and I'm hungry...

 

That sucks. Hope the dogs don't get sick. I'm currently trying to nurse my dog back to his self. He lost his dinner last night and I'm mixing a little bit of peanut butter in his food to get him to eat. Seems dogs don't get an appetite anymore for what they threw up than we do!

I have a beef roast in the crock. First time I've had beef in the house for awhile. There is a bit of really good looking meats in the freezer, from stopping at the local old fashioned butcher shop. Almost $70 worth.
