Maybe I'll meet this guy. lol Oh, you've got your Christmas cap on! Very nice. Very nice rump roast too. :-D
I ended up making a smoothie with beets, strawberry, pomegranate , blackberry and Greek yogurt. It tasted a lot like beets.
I felt like having sweets so I made a batch of chocolate fritters, sprinkled with icing sugar, that I enjoy in front of the tv while watching old movies.
I felt like having a simple meal tonight, so a tomato-lentil soup and some grilled cheese sandwiches are on the menu.
Tonight it was quite the feast! I made a big pot of soup again (green lentil this time), a ham, mashed potatoes, roasted kale, corn cobbler and sautéed spiced apples, with a chinese spice cake topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. I have a question for you people! I was given a can of Eagle Brand milk, but this one is chocolate flavored... what do you think I could do with it? I have zero inspiration with this one so any idea would be much appreciated!
I'd use it anywhere you'd use baking chocolate. How about a nice chocolate cheesecake? And invite me over to sample it when it's done! :-D
Ahah it's a date! The chocolate cheesecake sounds great, I might just do that! I always love some cheesecake, it's my absolute favorite.
I made a big pot of homemade chicken soup today. Tis the season. So that was lunch, with chicken and veggies from the soup. For dinner I took some of the broth and made egg drop soup, with eggs (of course), fresh mushrooms, chives and fresh grated ginger. It really hit the spot. No dessert... like chocolate cheesecake {{eyes Bassline}} (Why don't we have a lighting a fire under someone's ass emoticon?)
Pfffft I'll start cooking when I damn well please! You want your cake to be made with love and taste good, right? Tonight I made what I call my "cheesy as fuck spaghetti", i.e. your usual spaghetti and meat sauce with a generous extra cheese, with some apple crisp topped with a spoonful of vanilla yogurt for dessert.
