Most times what ever we eat as a family is what I cook. Take out is a treat and if we go out to eat it is at a restaurant the is more on the quality side of eating rather than faster food. I enjoy eating out but only if it is really good food. Probably because I do cook and I like doing it.
I just prepped a fairly lite supper. I baked some Tilapia with lemon pepper & seasonings. Then I cut up a a few small red potatoes drizzled with butter and paprika. For my vegetables I went with California blend, that'll be steamed. I cut up lemon wedges and parsley springs to garnish the plate. For my drink I'm gonna go with a Zinfadel blush to keep off the humidity. A bowl of rainbow sorbet for dessert to top it off.
Oh, it's carrots, broccoli, & cauliflower mixed together. You can buy it the frozen food veggie section either with stems or all florets. I like to eat them a bit crisp.
That's pretty funny; I don't think that's even available at stores here in Cali. You gotta love marketing.
