My partner's mom makes spaghetti with chili instead of tomato sauce for her husband who is from Cincinatti. I think they call it Cincy spaghetti. I hate it lol. Are you from that area? Seems like a regional dish.
Steak N Shake restaurant serves something called "Chili Mac". I don't know what it is. Someone told me that it is spaghetti and chili mixed.
I grew up about about an hour from Cincinnati; now I'm a little over an hour away. My dad could make Cincy style (almost like Skyline Chili), but he didn't make it like that all the time. Have you ever tried Skyline chili(Is Skyline Chili even in SC)? Edit: Cincy style tastes nothing like most chili that I make to put on spaghetti. I just make it basically like in my posts above, then pour it on spaghetti(or put the spaghetti in the chili at the end of cooking). Cincy style goes better with spaghetti, but I'm not picky.
I still haven't done anything with it yet hehe. I'll try remember to get a photo of the packet though.
Tempura batter at home would be awesome to me! Hubby was asking how to make it once and I'm like...I don't know...
They cooked well. The coating was just powder so I mixed so corn flake ceral to make them crunchy and what can I say, I got a bit of southern in me.
I will work on it. This term Mia and Kieran are on totally different schedules so meals may be a little off as sitting down together will not happen as much as I would like. Your sushi looks amazing!!!!!!
The fried chicken and green beans are cooking. I'm opening a can of cranberry sauce to go with it. That's a really good taste to cut the grease with.
