That was my gripe. Most sites have about a day. Here we have like 5 minutes. (Actually, it's about an hour, or maybe half an hour. Not long, anyway.).

I made a zucchini frittata for breakfast. I omitted the cheese but it was still delicious.

I could really go for a breakfast like that right now. I'm getting ready to eat a sweet potato for a snack at work instead though :|

I made a Moroccan lamb tagine today with shoulder lamb chops, with couscous on the side. It was really good, but I went a little heavy on the dried figs and mangos. The pic is before I cooked it. I forgot to take an after pic.

I've been obsessed with beets this week. I made another huge bowl of salad with beets, arugula pecans, baby tomatoes, and feta. I can't get enough of the stuff. I made a big batch that should last me all weekend.

I just made fish stock with a bunch of salmon trim that I found super cheap! I also managed to get a bunch of meat off it first too so I'm making salmon chowder tonight.

lol I'm pretty sure I know that wise guy.

Most meals in the tajine I cook for about 4 hours.

Today I pan seared a striploin steak, served with baked potato and fermented cabbage. Kefir and mango for dessert. I'll be eating mangoes all week, they all ripened at the same time! It won't be easy, but I'll have to force myself. :-D

This weekend I cooked up a really big pot of lasagne and started to make pre planned meals. My diet lately hasn't been too great tbh, and I just need easy heated meals for when I don't have time to eat at home etc. so lasagne is always easy to make and very yummy. So I got 10 lasagne dishes.

Then I also slow cooked a big roast lamb leg and made myself Mongolian slow cooked lamb and then cooked up some rice, made a further 8 meals out of that and placed it all into the freezer.

    :)

Ahaha I have the same problem. Have you tried Annie's mac and cheese before? This one is my all time favourite. My cousin fed it to me once and I was hooked. http://www.annies.com/products/pastas/organic-vegan-shells-creamy-sauce kinda pricy for a box of mac and cheese but I don't eat it often.

Last night hubby cooked rib eyes directly on the apple wood coals, out in the fire pit. They were delicious.

    Tonight, he's making Manwich, lol.

Oh, wow, everything is beets lately and I love beets, too...A friend of mine was telling me about a packaged dish she bought from the health food store last week....sliced beets, orange slices and fresh ginger. I never heard of beets and oranges or clementines or anything like that before and here, your recipe calls for that also. I have been meaning to make something like that...I have the oranges.....beets and i bought some fresh ginger. I just never seem to get around to making it to try the combo of beets and some kind of orange flavor.....but it must be good.....and I better make this recipe soon, as the ginger here will not last too much longer.....

My grandmother used to make a salad called silly salad made with sliced beets and herring pieces, raw carrots and vinegar.......That was a hello taste buds flavor! lol
