Just sealed the lid on tonight's dinner.
Pork shoulder bone-in roast seared and cookin' in the crock pot with two granny smith apples, two fuji apples, one lg white onion, about 1.5 cups of baby carrots, beef broth, couple tablespoons of brown sugar, dash of garlic, dash of red chili flakes.

also going to make smashed tators and maybe some other green veggie.

I rarely follow a recipe or just use them as guidelines and then just make it up as I go along.

hope it tastes yummy, gonna find out in about 4-5 hours.....:drool5:

    Thanks, yo!
You can also add a splash of hot sauce.

You'll have better results eating lots of healthy food, than an extreme diet. Not only do extreme diets strip you of nutrition, but your body will go into starvation mode, and you'll likely gain it all back.

Yeah, brown rice really isn't that great for you.

The best thing is to make your main focus nutrition. Don't deprive your body. Everyone time you eat, think about nutrients, not fat or calories. Cut out grains and sugar, and you'll do great.

It took me a while for it to click too. Just keep your health first, and vanity secondary. Good luck :)

I'm not mega fat,I'm just quite tall with medium build and with a slightly portly protruding stomach. No one would look at me and say "He's fat",but I am aware of it and it does to some extent make feel unattractive to the opposite sex.

Baked potato......then add some butter and crumbly blue cheese to the hot interior.....made salad ....all kinds of greens, red onions, carrots, celery, tomatos.....add Italian dressing on top and then stuff salad in potato.....sort of just picking at it, though. I am not so hungry tonight.....

I have found that the most mainstream, conventional health advice is often the worst. I am always hearing bad advice from so-called "experts" on sites like Yahoo! Health, who say things like "eat whole grains," "limit fat intake," etc. I don't know what college some of these people went to, but their advice does anything but contribute to health.

Yahoo is a fucking joke. Some of the "news" articles they publish are anything but news. I sincerely hope that no one reads Yahoo in order to become informed
