Almost forgot about my `98 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo.

I forget about it allot because it's a 2 wheel drive and needs some bearings in the back, or something.

In fact I forget about it so much I had to buy a new battery for it a few months ago because I rarely drive it and it just sits there collecting dust.

I almost traded it for an `83 Dodge Diplomat last week.

If it had been a two door with a bigger engine than a 318, I would of ripped the landau top off, painted it black and made it a street rod.

But as it sits in it's pristine condition it can't be altered in any way without ruining it. From it's spoke hub caps to the period aluminum frame shade screen in the back window, it just can't be touched.

Any Grandma would be proud to be seen in that car.

The car is soo loaded with everything (that all still works including ice cold A/C), the guy said it costed $10,000.00 back in`83.

I'm still on the fence about it, actually.

Haven't heard from the owner in a while. He wants the Jeep, but he doesn't want to have to work on it I think.

I got my license also at 19 and always had a car ever since then, except when I was travelling. Seems like I am a kind of guy who is downgrading in cars over the years, I used to drive Mercedes and Audi and right now I have some Toyota. Also extremely oblivious about the details. Out of my head I have no clue what kind of Toyota it is or from what year.
