    Reading Blake Crouch's Dark Matter.

Start off as a mystery, then it takes a turn into weird... where it goes from here I will let you know.

    Girl in the Show.

It covers three generations of the intersectionality of feminism and women in standup comedy.

Also, I just left the house for 10 days and realized I forgot the book lol

That's a long time indoors! Probably because of the weather, however. Bitterly cold here in NorCal lately, now they are predicting SNOW. I like looking at it, but to go out into it, no thanks. My tropical upbringing precludes that. I shiver too much.

Temps are finally back to normal here. After a January in the 30s, it's back up to the 60s here. Pushing 70 in fact

    Hagitude by Sharon Blackie
Difficult to explain what it is about but here is a review written by author Katherine May - a beloved cult classic ... a myth-infused manifesto for the possibilities for life from middle age onwards.
For me it is a book that basically reiterates everything that I believe is possible for elderly women to achieve or just be.
There is a poem by Dawna Markova called "I will not die an unlived life" and in it she writes about not fully living because you are always afraid of catching fire.
This book encourages women to not be afraid, to be aware that there are still opportunities and possibilities whatever the stage of life.

Well I finished that book. Should have not bothered with something from Blake Crouch. Billed as sci-fi, but more of a mystery. Although there is some plot basis with quantum mechanics and a mysterious 'black box' that offers trips into self-created alternate realities.

It descends from there into a mishmash of chase scenes with the main character murdering his alternate selves in hopes of getting back to his own original reality.

Not recommended, even though he did write "Wayward Pines."
