I've been alternating shots of Jameson and cans of Lone Star tonight.

Note to self: cheap beer and good whiskey make Jesus go crazy

Oh wait, Jesus already crazy. Nothing to see here folks, move along.

Fuckin hell. I can't make up my mind as to whether I want to fight my banjo or piss in it.

I am starting the night off with a big, corked bottle of Corsendonk...

...which will be followed by a couple 12 oz. bottles of La Fin du Monde:

Haha, don't know about that, PR, I just saw the bottle and thought "Skull Splitter... now I've GOT to try that". But I do like it. It's not an all-the-time brew, though. Falls into the same category as Arrogant Bastard Ale or V-12; when you want something really different.

I'd prefer an IPA, but on my budget it's a PBR. :(

Hop Wallop from Victory Brewing Co., Downingtown, Pa.

The massive hop infusion covers the 8% alcohol well thank you.

Victory has several nice craft beers.

    Guiness is great on tap

    Humbug! You aren't worthy!

Just kidding, ABA is some damn fine beer, it was one of the better American beers I could get back in Texas.

I'm drinking a Mojo India Pale Ale from Rockies Brewing Company. It is one of the hoppiest beers I have ever consumed. It's a good IPA and I am quite a fan of the hops. I am convinced that hops has it's own psychoactive properties, along the lines of a barbituate, because after a couple of these I just want to lie down and go to sleep.

Damn, I have already decided that my favorite thing about living in Colorado is the beer. I have fourteen months here in Denver, and I have three day weekends, so I foresee a lot of brewery tours in my future. Mmmm... free beer samples.
