I'll probably keep watching ANUNNAKI docos tbh even though they're starting to be the same and I know everything already.
Still watching old "What's My Line" TV shows. They have some of the most interesting people on such as Ethel Barrymore, Cab Calloway, Walt Disney, Howdy Doody, "Minnesota Fats", Francis the Talking Mule, Edmund Hillary, Arnold Palmer, Norman Vincent Peale, Norman Rockwell, Eleanor Roosevelt, Lana Turner, Frank Zappa, etc. Here's one with Salvador Dalí (starts at :15 secs).
I'm looking for a new series. Not sure what I'm in the mood for. Another ''Killing Eve'' type plot would be great, but can't really seem to find something like that. That was such a fresh series, imo.
I'm watching Crash Dive, a 1943 US propaganda flick, in color! They really capture that weird shade of blue that is the Pacific.
Here's an interesting bit of Hollywood. The captain is assembling a landing party to sabotage a German sub base. He tells all the non-married men to raise their hand to volunteer. I'm thinking that submariners were bachelors by design.
Strange watching Dorothy Kilgallen before they found her dead in her New York City apartment from a fatal dose of barbiturates and alcohol. Some conspiracy theorists claim she was murdered...hmmm...
I just finished Happy! Bizarre, violent, funny, very well acted. It is probably the weirdest thing I have seen on tele but it worked.
Yes, I didn't realize how important a reporter she was. Nor did I realize she took place in an around the world race, was a millionaire and had an open marriage. Same with the "moderator" John Daley. He was the first reporter to reveal the Pearl Harbor attack to the nation. And Bennett Serf, one of the founders of Random House publishing, was involved in "the Famous Writer's School" scandal. All interesting people.
