The Bell Jar is a fantastic book. I first read it when I was 15 and I re-read it a few times a year :)

Desparation by Stephen King. pretty crazy actually. just your normal pulp-action-horror, where a cop(theres something wrong with him im pretty sure, but i havent got that far yet) just goes crazy and locks about 6 people in cells and kills them off one by one.

Anything, and I mean, anything, by Cormac McCarthy, the greatest living American author.

That said, how could anyone not read "A Haven From Violence", by yours truly, Burl N. Corbett? (Allow me to beat my own drum--XXXXXXXXXXX!)

Available at Barnes and Noble or Amazon.com, as well at other fine book-stores.I've sold damn-near 200 copies, and haven't had a complaint. On the contrary-- nothing but kudos!

Based on a true story of drunkenness, yuppie-hatred and red-neck glory (or squalor), it remains the only fictional record of Berks County (John Updikes' early stomping ground {whom I know, BTW}, Pennsylvania, USA. in the 70's.})

But, I could be wrong. I need the royalties worse than a dead man needs a box.

Buy this book or I will piss on your lawn, blow up your mail-box or drop off two pregnant pussycats.

    And that's chust for starters!

I may throw the calf over the fence some hay!

(PA Dutch-language, there , ole buddy.)

I just finished reading "What Happened to Lani Garver" by Carol Plum-Ucci, for the third time.
Now I'm working on "Naked Lunch" by William Burroughs...definetely an interesting book, though hard to understand at some points.

The End of Alice, by A.M. Homes. I dunno if I can ever finish it though coz it's a bit too disturbing.
