Two good books I just finished are Ken Follets Pillars of the Earth, and World Without End. Set in England in the Middle Ages they are about the building of Catholic cathedrals, and the politics behind it.

I’m just starting a book called Between A Rock and A Hard Place, about a dude who’s arm became trapped under a boulder while he was rock climbing in Utah. Dude cut off his arm with a Swiss Army knife to escape[IMG]

I watched a special about Aron Ralston, and I found it extremely fascinating... I did not know he had a book out (I'm slow like that) I will have to check that out as I found his story rather amazing...

Goldfinger, by Ian Fleming. I'm reading all the old James Bonds over again. Really an engaging, good writer.

Frankenstein - Mary Shelley; reading it due to school. But the book is quite grand.

I've just started a book called 'The Book Thief' by Markus Zusak.

I'm really looking forward to reading it. Rarely, after 20 pages, has a book interested or excited me as much as this one. His style seems so innovative.

So I finished the book, and I have to say that he went through an effen crazy ordeal. It was both inspiring and grotesque. The scene where he describes the amputation had my hair curling, and I almost wanted to vomit. Great book and story though.

I too find myself cracking open several books at once, I just finished Roots by Alex Haley, Im over halfway through Apt Pupil ~ Stephen King, and Im reading two books by one of my favorite authors Carl Sagan: Shadows of forgotten Ancestors, and Broca's Brain
I need to get back to the library and find another book though, I find it difficult to stay glued to more serious topics, like Sagans, if I dont have some lighter narrative style reading to sorta "switch the channel" now and then.
