Today I went up to Denmark Street (the British answer to Tin Pan Alley) and got myself a new baby:

i'm about to go wash a bicarb/salt/lemon/tea tree mix off my hair, and whatever henna might still be stuck in there after i rinsed it the first time..... then i'll have super clean, super red dreads yayayay

for the rest of the day i'd say i'm likely to do a bit of felting, or make some more necklaces... slowly building up enough stuff to have a little stall at festivals with a friend of mine

then for tonight, it's one of my good friend's album launch, he makes sickeningly good dubstep, should be a pretty ruckus night!

eta: i was lucky to live with this boy for over a year, and his studio was next to my room - getting to hear all this develop and come together = so awesome!

today is my day off... my professor has missed my deadline for my recommendation letter to the peace corps. so... yeah today's gonna be great.

I'm up at a gross hour to get ready for the market. It was made even grosser by a bit of insomnia. Tra la la la.

 

Recieved my 3rd re order of a print I wasn't happy with. Still not 100% happy but it is considerably better than the last two prints I recieved. It will have to do.

So far I woke up on a bench and had a cup of coffee (Irish) then wande3red around for a while and had a pint in some random pub, now I'm in an internet cafe.

Later on will be mental though

I got a cross pien hammer of a reasonable weight (a rare find) and lots of lovely perrrrrry.

There was also a blacksmith selling things for top dolla, he has a fire companion set for £500, I made on of them, it wasn't nearly as nice as his but fuck me I could knock one of his out in a day and if I got anywhere near £500 id quit the fuck out my job.

today was my 21st bday... i went to the grape/apple/plum orchard and drank beer all day at the vineyard. then i came home and smoked hookah with the friends and my mom made steaks and a cake of berries and whipped cream... then i saw The Last Air Bender which was an okay movie...

it was a really cool day!

 

I've spent the last four days alone wishing I could hang out with someone, anyone. But, no.

It's the fourth of July, and I have to work.

 

The BBC want to interview me for a documentary on Animal shelters up North. I told them I would be prepared to do it if they gave me a TV license for three years, free.

I went to church today. They were really lovely and they are very interested in my work, so I may be doing a photography book for them.
