Gret, that's weird. But you seem like such a tiny thing anyway, are you trying to lose weight? I know this is likely not what you want to hear... but at least you are being healthier. =)

HDH and DV, yup, I know we are hard wired different. I just heard somewhere the other day a man say "hey, why would I know how to multi task, my fore fathers job was to stare into the distance and watch for prey for hours on end". That did hit home for me. I couldn't do taht at all. Blech. But seriously... He's trying to fix the unfixed things. For instance, to make things easier, he canceled an apt on Wed. now, some might think that was helpful or sweet... My thoughts? I have already rearranged our week to accommodate for that apt... now we need to rearrange another week at a future time. Ugh.

But seriously, I'm in a better mood. Could be that we found a van and I just wrote a cheque to replace the one that was written off. Ah well.

I have the same trouble too,I can diet for 3 weeks and still weigh the same! Just keep on with it and also lots of excersize is great.
Buy a skipping rope,its fun and burns so many calories!

Ive had lots on my mind the last few days,its stopping me from functioning like a normal human being GAH!

 

I have the estate agents coming round in 15 mins to check the condition of the house.

I feel like the queen is coming and I have no fewer than 10 incense sticks on the burn right now.

 

When I Have Queens Around, Usually One Or Two Sticks Is Sufficient...

Yeh but volume for volume, muscle weighs... oh I dunno isn't like 4 times more than fat? So technically you could even gain mass whilst trying to lose it.
Ditch the scales. How my jeans fit/don't fit has been my "scales" for 15+ years.

 

I had a really good day. The estate agent was here for two minutes not the half an hour we thought he would be, then we went to the pub for a few 'pear drop' Ciders and a couple of games of pool.

I went to buy some frames as my friend wants me to donate something for the RNIB raffle, so I thought what better way to attract business than to donate art.

I went to the post office to buy a note book for my lyrics and they are really interested in seeing my work to use for postcards and had a coffee with the guys who own the takeaway shop.

So now I'm trying to find a site that I can print postcards on that will let me put my details on the back of them.

Cheers Daisy! I'm wondering if I should let them see my bigger prints before I start ordering postcards. I don't print my own stuff I have to order it online though and I don't want to spend money on postcards before they see them..

So I went back with a print and the guy who was interested was busy so I asked this lady and she was like "nope! not interested." Didn't even have a proper look at it. Rude cow.

 

grrrr. i turned in a direct deposit form to get paid for my research position three months ago, and they are just now informing me that they don't seem to have it in the system. i knew this would fucking happen. people always fuck with my money!

I will also try to gt pics of my _____ colored locks today. ____ meaning i don't know what color to call them...

 

Went to my junior school to help out with making props and it went well. They have employed an "artist" to help with a mural thing outside on the wall, and he is an arrogant arse, so if he gets fired I might get the job

I had such a bizarre day. We usually have Kiah (my step daughter) up in ours at weekends but because we can't have her this weekend we went down to her house. She lives right up in the hills in this cave like house with 3 windows and has goats and ducks, They were snowed in most of the winter and I honestly don't know how they survived! The nearest shops are like a half hour drive away!
Just so surreal to see where she lives becuase all we know of her realli is when she comes to ours and she's such a great kid and totally together and normal even though she has this kind of crazy home life!
Then the mums friend rolled up in his car stinking of booze...so weird. But great for Kiah and so cool of her mum to be living exactly how she wants to be living,.

Having a panic: I'm so busy these next two weeks, though I'm not getting paid for it and its not my dissertation. Should be doing my dissertation. *blahblah* Getting paid and doing my D were the two things for me this summer, but I'm helping out at schools and colleges instead. But I guess thats cool, experience and whatnot. I'll do some ideas for my D now. That'll make me feel better...

 

I have been at school today working on my personal statement, which basically ended up as a more glorified and verbose way of saying 'please please mr nice art school admissions supervisor I am ever such a good and nice student please let me come to your nice college so I can do some pretty drawings and stuff like that.'
