Wish I had the balls to start my business instead of procrastinating. Today my head is filled with thoughts that, as a married woman I should be more established than I am at the moment.

I talk to my husband about it and all he says is life is too short to be working 12 hours a day in a menial job. I have a part time job that I love instead of being in a full time job I hate He has a point, though.

Even though I measure my happiness through my friends, photography and my marriage, not much else matters but I can't help but feel I should be able to afford a car and be able to afford holidays and the like.

I don't know why this stuff is bothering me!

I'll gladly do some promo for ya!

Aye I was saying all this again to my husband and he believes we are no worse off than anyone else our age, we just don't save to afford these 'nice things'. He said that as long as we are happy then what should it matter. It's so true!

We've just come back from a walk. We ended up getting lost and cutting through sheep fields to try and find our way home, the sheep where not best pleased when they realised we were not the farmer with their tea.

It is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL evening here in Devon. I'm sad to be back inside but my feet are all blistered from my sandals. So going to put my feet up with a green tea and review and pick a 365 photo.

these are just things that society says we should be doing, I should have got my degree by now and should have learned how to drive. that stuff doesn't bother me but I do love holidays so would save for them.
A holiday doesn't have to be real expensive though. I'm going around Ireland this summer and me and the husb are going camping up the mountains. Just getting away for a night or two feels great!
Even a day holiday is great! Get a train/bus somewhere and pack a picnic and have an interesting day. I want to do as much free stuff this summer, I want to treat Dublin as if I'm a tourist!

I'm watching BB, it's not that great but it's the last one ever so want to get into it! I'm also trying to choose a new girl/model face to draw...

This ^^ As long as you are happy, its aaallll gravy.

I learned more about glaze ingredients from a book than I have in the 2 years of my degree. I went job hunting today, handed out 6 CVs and needed more. Should have printed out more ¬¬ Then I went for a super long walkk around my village (its so nice to say that) with my sister, then stopped off at the pub for an orange juice :D I think we are finally getting along ^^ Feelings of nostalgia on that walk are still making my heart strings sing ^^ There were lots of "DO YOU REMEMBER... ..."'s. It was awesome :)

Got my room sorted YAY. couple of boxes still to sort but I think its all gravy. Soggy, lumpy, awesome gravy. I'm wondering how I'm going to juggle the few but big things going on this summer. I'm sure I'll organise myself into some sort of dissertation-parttimejob-ceramicsbitch machine

My CF card reader died as I was just about to look at my photos! I'm so sad! Now I can't look at them. I've bought another reader on eBay, I hope it comes on Saturday as I don't have much space on my memory cards!

I'm 30, have a degree, children and a man that I call hubby and I'm still not settled... whatever that may mean. I still have on idea if I want to be a business owner or work for someone else. Everyone's happiness will be different. We do go on mini holidays and try to do tons of stuff around where we live... biking trails, hiking, exploring, swimming, etc.

Back on track... I just went to pick up some jewelry making stuff. I have been using my friends materials and thought since I've been doing it for a couple months now, I can buy my own gear. Plus... I needed to pick up some beads to make ty presents for sonny boys teachers. Yeah! Hobbies that are fun and make people happy!

Oh, and applied for insurance so I can start teaching hula hoop to people... lady seems to think it will come back declined. Grrr...

After taking a two hour walk I made some hummus and pico de gallo, and my son is getting worse with not listening, he is driving me mad.

I have a feeling I will never be settled. I am going to be moving back in with my parents by the end of this year and will have to pretty much start from nothing for everything. I have hardly any work experience and I didn't finish college. I will probably be what I consider settled when I am 30!

cannot find one iota of motivation this week :(
i haven't had a depressive episode like this in a long, long time and i don't even really know what to do for myself... all i want to do is hide and cry, but i know it isn't going to fix anything
    *sigh*

definately put my own issues into perspective though... no more wallowing over the little things, life is, quite obviously, too short

Ahoy Peeps ... how's everyone doing? Been back in South Africa for about 3 weeks now, should hopefully have a net connection at home by the end of next week. Otherwise, all cool.
