What are you/have you been doing today?

My little mutt might not look like much, but no one is getting into our yard without the whole house knowing it first. Hes a great alarm system and has treed bears and scared away some junkie who was trying to break into our house.
Someday, when I have the space, I'll get a big dog, and I know I'll feel safer, but little dogs are cool too.

Aww that's cute mama! At least he's not one of those prissy dogs those are the little dogs I hate. I love my 9 month old German Shep. He's a good protector against flashers in the woods.

 

Someday, when we get our farm, I will have an LGD-probably a Marrema or an Anatolian Shepherd.

 

my great dane/pit bull 'Jefro' would probably just sit there if somebody walked in the house and started loading up on electronics

 

my buddy boo would prolly bark his ass off at intruders then when they came in lick them to death

 

Yeah, my pup thinks he sooo tough. He tried to pee on a huge black lab that lived next door!
He's a bit yappy, but only when people walk right by our house, etc. so at least it has a positive side to it. Hes definitely not a prissy dog-he loves the forest and he was raised in a motorhome/tent camp in the mountains for the most part of his first year. He can also outrun most large dogs-I run him while I'm on my bicycle and we've been clocked at about 30km/hr.
I sure love my pup!

so today i go to opening day at my job as a lifeguard for a water park... the girl who has been pining over me for nearly a year does this and that getting my attention... so i ask for her digits "hey sweetheart, lemme get them digits." she rejects me on the grounds that she is in a relationship with some dude and i'm dumbstruck. i'm thinking about how i just asked for a number without pretense and now she wants to "hang out" and "chat" next time we're at work together. what the fuck is this bullshit? its not like i asked if we could fool around in the massage room... i just want to see what she's like outside of work.

someone please tell me what kind of game she's playing, because this kind of frustration doesn't happen to me often. i don't feel like i lost my chance, but i definitely got rejected. i kind of just want to ignore her and let her keep pining over me, bone some of the teenage lifeguards and try and get the bitter taste of rejection out of my mouth.

ugh. other than that i rode my bike about 35 miles and finished my book. so its actually a pretty good day. how's everyone else?

well the fact that she has a boyfriend might work out to my benefit... i don't want a "relationship" really. i want to see why she pines over me so much, talking about me with coworkers and all that bull. i have a feeling she is gonna be a hand full, a lot of drama.
