I've wanted to write to killers in jail because...well it's too long to write out here and will make me seem crazy but then I started worrying that they'd get out and find me or convince someone else to do something to me. If I had a po box maybe I'd do it.

I'd be interested if you started hdh, keep us updated.

It's not crazy, You should do Gret, apparently a lot of killers on death row have NO contact whatsoever with the outside world so the chances of them getting someone to get you is unlikely. They just want a friend. I did look into getting a PO box as there was another inmate I really wanted to write to who wasn't on death row but the PO boxes are £51! Apparently US PO boxes are extremely cheap to buy so maybe you could do that??

There's a great website http://www.writeaprisoner.com which will help you out and lists all the people wanting penpals.

You can send your first contact via email where they print it off and send it to the prisoner, eagerness got the better of me and I decided to write to a prisoner.

He's been disowned by everyone in the outside world and he's really lonely and he states he just wants a true friend. He hasn't recieved any mail at all, which kinda breaks my heart. So I told him about myself and that, I also asked him whether he would wait til the 19th March to send a reply to me and I gave him my new address. I hope he writes back.

Because it's perfectly reasonable for the state to kill it's undesirable citizens........

Srsly I didn't think anybody but daily mail reading panic whores and the illiterate sun reading "OMGWTFPEDOS" proles were in favor of the death penalty, essentially people too selfish or too stupid to have any degree of empathy.

I can't help but to always think something along the lines of "You killed someone, that is bad, so now we are going to kill you" when the death penalty comes up.

The death penalty is a joke. It's against the law to kill....however...if you have millions of dollars tied up in the oil industries...suddenly murder is heroic??? The fight on terrorism has resulted in nothing but thousands and hundreds of innocent and not so innocent lives lost and we still have nothing to show for it here in the states except higher racial discrimination rates and gas prices.
"War...*grunt* what is it good for ABSOLUTELY nothin."
All Im sayin is that if the leaders of our country can whack people off left and right then why cant I?

    you just realised that today?

like 'why do we kill people who kill people to show that killing people is bad?'

.... i don't support the death penalty. i simply don't think that any person has the right to decide to take the life of another person, regardless of their justification of it. there are a lot of other reasons behind my stance but that is key for me.

writing to inmates is a really interesting thing to do/ think about. have any of you thought of writing to political prisoners? there are a lot of people in prison for breaking laws for ethical reasons rather than criminal reasons. environmental, animal rights, &c activists. i've heard from several people that their correspondence with the outside world was the thing that helped them the most during their time in prison. living vicariously- they say if you aren't sure what to write just write about yourself no matter how boring you feel it might be.

No because I presume they get loads of letters, I just want to write to those who don't appear to recieve any mail. 23 hours in solitary confinement with NO links to the outside world is so hard to imagine.

Drizzle my nizzle bitch. OMG that reminds me, so yesterday I was at the bank and this girl was being served. She was dressed in fuck all but a pair of tights and a top, no frigging skirt at all. I've never seen a more peachy pert round ass in my life I got proper turned on thinking abot her ass today.

    She was dressed like this

    IN A BANK!!

but had a much more pert round ass I can't even find a pic to compare. Shame she was a slut though. I wanted a dick and then I wanted to bite her ass.

Ahoy ... for sure, although it goes without saying that the rules don't apply to the rulers, look at how many cops get away with cold blooded murder.

I just don't know about the whole death penalty issue, on the one hand 2 wrongs don't make a right, but of course if someone close to me was murdered I would want an eye for an eye ... aaggghhh, I've never known what to think of it???

In Africa, community justice still goes down. In South Africa, peeps in the ghettos are literally burned alive with a tire around the neck, petrol and a light ... and for all sorts of things, not just murder ... rape, drug dealing, you name it.

Hmmm ...I know I should hit the sack, but I can't bare the thought of sleeping my life away

    Jah Guide!

today im pissed at my roommate, because he wont admit that dropping my harddrive on the floor might possibly have something to do with the fact that its not working today, and that it has to be a manafacturing fault that even though i have had no problem with it for the last year of use, I dont even care that its broken, its the fact that he wont admit he may be at fault
