What are you/have you been doing today?

Wow, so yeah, that girl I was telling you all about who fell out with me after 12 years...Well she's just turned up at my doorstep apologising for everything she's done to me. Wow.

Well it was really awkward at first she was asking how my christmas was and how her sister got engaged. Her sister was waiting in the car so I presumed she'd had a big talk with her family over it. I'm a bit confused is she being genuine or is she trying to do something nice at Christmas.

I don't really remember much I was a bit stunned by it all. I was just making small talk with her. Awkward awkward small talk about Christmas and how I made curry... Then she said "after you've known each other for years it's just bad that they fall out....
There's just some people you get tired of knowing and it affects everything else....I was just stressed."

That was pretty much her apology but we're like men, we're not big on apologising profusely. I mean, she hurt me a lot and since then I've been like "fuck it" I'm not letting people hurt me anymore.. But I would forgive her. But I don't want to be hurt again...

Part of me wants to tell her to fuck off but I certainly could not show my face to someone like she did and I think it was pretty big of her seeing how our last contact was via email.

Anyway she's invited me round hers to check out Call of Duty. And she'd call me in a couple of days.

Thing is, when we used to fall out in school we'd not talk for weeks and then we'd walk home and just take the piss out of each other and friendship restored. So I don't know how to do that "talk" to her.

If she is sincere and she does call I want to tell her that she really hurt me and I want to ask her why now has she come round. But I don't want to sound gay. I want things to be how they were but I'm telling myself to take it slow with her. I did tell her that I wasn't angry with her coz of her sister.

I'm a bit confused as to how I want to approach things. Part of me wants to leave things as they are but I don't think I'd be a nice person if I did that.

 

sounds complicated.just think about it before she calls so you can have your thoughts together when/if she calls.you don't want to do/say anything you regret.I'd say deep down you were happy that she came over though?

 

I usually approach wierd social situations with an "open but suspicious" attitude. I dunno... good luck HDH, friends are hard sometimes.

I'm in Dallas staying at a hotel for free, had a world-class dinner and a bottle at a wine bar last night. today walked around, it was fukkin cold. ate a ton of pizza and drank beer. now I am going to make coffee, waiting for friends.

 

Yeah I'm not going to dwell on it or wait for her to call. I don't know if I was happy, I think it was very mixed emotions. I do miss her though. Thanks fool, I hope whatever the outcome I'm happy with it. I'm definately "open but suspicious".

 

today i went to work and it was very blah!!!!


but i got home and i painted for 3 hours and finished this one mandala, its sooooo dope! i almost dont want to sell it.

and i'm going to start another one right now.... when its cold outside, i paint.

 

I think 2 of my dreads are going to fall off sooner or later because they are really thin at the root is there anything I can do to stop them because I am a rastafarist I cant let this happen

 

Just got home from a 2 day surf/fishing trip.
Didn't catch any fish... but destroyed a couple of slabs of beeeer.

Me mam saw the saying in the rad custom sign/shirt shop in town (who I am friendly with the owners of) and had a shirt made for me

In other news, it's working again.

Today I'm packing and tomorrow I leave for a 6 hour road trip.

Enjoyed my Week off work and school, and spent lots of time with my Puppy and Hubby. But back to work this week. . . Not really anything else going on.
