hmm.. on first read I thought this post was about a sexy four year old. I expect nothing less from these hip forums

 

going on a bike ride in a bit then Im going to sun myself in the garden with some beers later as it looks like a nice day,might even do some hula hoop tutorials if im not feeling too lazy!

got a call back about a job
also, did a day of work yesterday, mostly driving a tractor (awesome) and macheteing.

 

today im medicated due to cramps and sever bitchy-ness

 

Why the fuck do I have to mop up blood for a living when other people get to drive tractors and fuck about with machetes. Id pay to do that shit.

there is no end to the random and fun oddjobs to do on any farm.

 

there was a mate of my brothers works on a farm and said I should do this weird thing I can't remember the name of where basically you work for your keep on farms round the world. Id enjoy it but it's not exactly a step forward in my already miles behind my mates life.

you work on organic farms in exchange for food and board and learning. it seems great and id like to do it, but i need to make money to pay off my debts and pay for tuition first

Still a bit upset by the talent contest my husband and his mate entered last night. To cut a long story very short. they missed the heats but they let them enter the final because they do regular sets there and they really get the pub some punters. ANYWAY

EVERY table in the pub had a laminated newspaper article with a picture of the coke head landlord with his arm around the favourite to win who was basically jail bait and wore little more than a belt. The talent contest was supposed to be judged by "four judges". No one knew who they were even the staff.

Husband and mate were doing "rock and roll star" by Oasis because Oasis music is loved here.

So they start playing Hubby on guitar, Mate vocals and tamborine. No backing track and no one mentioned that they needed one, when.... a fucking karaoke track of the song started playing. They were like what the fuck and ballsed up their set trying to tell the guy to shut the damn thing off.

When they turned the track off the guy started fucking about with the sound making them sound terrible. They kicked off with this guy and he felt so bad he was like "ok well do it again" and the coke head manager was like "NO THERE'S NO TIME".

So to sum up. The coke head manager only allowed them to enter the final because they draw in the crowds and he deliberately sabotaged them so the Jail bait favourite could win the prize. The whole pub kicked off about my husband's set being sabotaged and they had to close the pub!

aww your poor husb! what was the prize? those damn coke head pub owners ruin everything..

 

WELL they were told it was three grand so they practiced damn hard only for them to announce it was infact two hundred pounds..Also, winners from previous heats weren't even there..
My husband said it was the worst experience of his life. Poor guy. I nearly floored some people last night. But you know whatever, at least people go to listen to them unlike just looking at not-so-good-at-singing jail bait's tits. Still, they have even more sets there just because of the amount of people that showed up there. Karma.

LOL it's reet Daisy we're pretty high so. I'm just glad that they've become more or less the house band. It's a win situation. For them anyway.

 

how many layers should my piñata have? I have been baking and making all night and bluhhh I want to go bed but this ridiculous looking 'piñata' is hanging out of my ceiling with a feather on the end (the only thing that makes it look decent) how many layers of papier mache should it need to hold sweets?
