its not a hugely impressive deterrent, its a piece of mesh that ive just put over the top and tied around with twine to keep it on.. itll keep them buggers off, and still lets air & water in, and the carrots out =]

From my experience, they could have been laid as as eggs a while ago, but keep an eye on them. Does one look fatter than the other guppies?

All the guppies I've had were live birthing, so no eggs. But you could see baby eyeballs always in the stomachs of the preggo ones. There were always quite a few from mine, maybe 20 or more. There are really tiny and hard to find though.

Yeah most of mine were live birthers but one or two released eggs. If you can, see if there's a black spot near the backed of the fish, if there is one try isolating it for a couple of days and if nothing happens just release her back. She could have been spooked and delayed the birth.

Nice! I only stuck to pond types. I'd really like a Siamese Fighting Fish. Those are so cool. As well as clown fish <3

we had an oscar and a jack dempsey(sp?) the oscar died tragically (lewis' nephew caught him with his fishing pole and then the dog bit his head off) and the jack jumped out of the tank a week ago we found him a couple days ago so lewis is sticking to non carnivorous fish

Random way to die! Poor fish. I had a goldfish from a fair that jumped out and died. Gutted. Oscars are really pretty and all.

Took the kid to the dentist(YAY No cavities!) .I Hadn't slept in days so came home and crashed hard on the couch. Hubby went and picked up his niece for the kid to play with.Woke up to two little girls playing in my living room, instead of one.
