my throat is sore. ended up going to a lock-in last night where my friend works and the barman was making us amazing cocktails.nomnomnom.was singing all night with this body builder guitar player.leaving the pub it was bright outside and people were going to work. I didn't realise I'd been out for so long and I'd promised to make husband dinner, so ran home to find him asleep on the couch with a packet of cereal on the table and an empty bowl and spoon next to it. I shuffled him to bed and we woke up this morning laughing about it. I felt bad so i made him a bigbig breakfast. I was in a weird mood so ate peas&tea for brekki. they were good.

 

i always have odd things for breakfast. today it was tortillas and queso. and coffee of course.
today is my day off (finally!). i am coloring my locks today. hopefully, i'll be able to get the black dye out.

 

as of half an hour ago I was sleeping.

 

saying bye to my mom and beginning the drive home

 

today I will be having a serious discussion with my fiance about being lazy and not working even if he flips out

his boss called him today and asked him to work for half a day for $50 and he said thats not enough for him to unload a truck full of mulch. I almost called his boss and told her I would work for her today. But I'm not doing his job for him.

 

Today has been such a good day! I got some inheritence money and an invite for a job interview for a debt advice company. I'm their dream candidate with all my debt advice experience so I have high hopes that I'll get the job.

 

hellodreadhead - Was that from your grandpa was it? If you have it, you must have had to deal with some fam or else it came in the mail..>I hope it came in the mail for you. And congrats on teh invite!

Today I found an old tshirt in the back of my dresser that I haven't seen in a long time. I think it's about 30 years old and I LOVE IT. Made my day. I just googled for a pic of it, but cannot find anything like it. Darn... it's so sweet!

 

Yes it was! It came in the mail which I'm glad about, it'd be pretty awkward if they just turned up after 4 years. It was quite a formal letter, turns out he died in February so bit shocked by that. I don't know whether I should write her a thankyou note though, My handwriting is atrocious and it seemed to have been written as though she wasn't bothered about a reply... It's a nice little sum anyway, enough to keep us til I find work but if I get this job, I might treat me and hubs to a weekend in Amsterdam. Raa Sorry, I'm rambling! Good news about your shirt though! I love one of a kind old stuff like that!

today i made biscuits, nomnomnomnom. i made loads, but there isnt many left now..

i alsoooooooo tidied up the greenhouse, and potted on some tomatoes, and made a bird deterrent for my carrots, and then we took the cat to the vet and he had a thermometer up his bum. =]
