What are you/have you been doing today?

I got called into work, the sun i shining, but there is a chill in the air so thats okay and then found out I can't work all weekend because there is nobody to watch the baby.... but the weather is supposed to be great!

Oh and I just watched seven pounds and cried.... because....wow, does that ever hit home!

 

Ok. I'm gonna shower! It must be done.

 

I've been editing my wedding photos. They turned out horrible so I'm trying to do my best with them here's my favourite

 

when did u get married hdh? I only like a few of mine too. My mama's friend said he'd do ours for free(as a wedding present)so I couldn't realli turn him down. He took them soo weird, like bent down looking up if u get me. Anyway, whatever way to describe it our legs looked realli big and we have tiny faces in lots of them. I wish I'd taken them myself just by balancing my camera on trees or something but I was so all over the place on our wedding day I didn't even pack a bag for our few nights in the hotel. I was in my wedding dress for the whole weekend!

ugh i've been at work since 9 this morning...it's now 6 in the evening, and i got an hour and half left of work...im soooo ready to go home...i just wanna get drunk/high tonight and unwind, i've had a crazy hectic week, but, *sigh*, i dont think i'll have the oppurtunity

i'm in boulder, co. i just went on an awesome intense hike up a mountain and now i'm going swimming and hot tubbing... then cooking a dank dinner... fuuuck yes

 

awww... i havent heard anyone describe anything non bud related as "dank" in a long time... i miss my old friends

 

Today I got called into work. Kinda sh***y since it was nice out, and Pat was here but meh. I'm broke so i guess it was a good thing I did get off work early and had some time to shop. Got a few summery things. Came home to do h/w but than got sucked into the HF vortex. Pat just got off school and is here ( Dancing in my kitchen to iron&wine like a music box ballerina) hahaha. We're going to watch Go Further tonight. Hes never seen it, I love that movie though. Tis all my day has consisted of so far.

Yeah Iron & Wine are quite cool.

 

Today I woke up early and went to the studio. I then went to my ladys house for an hour before she got called into work. Then I went back to the studio and then I went back to her house. And now were in bed watching a movie together

And i get to sleep in tomorrow <3

 

Man, I love Boulder. Just a short drive and you're in the mountains. I've visited friends that live there.

 

Do a practice photo batch with them to get a clearer idea of what they want.

I've been meaning to go back through mine and create a nice final print batch. Can't believe we still haven't printed any out! And of course various family members have done their own crappy prints, without fixing colours or anything so indoor flash pics have really harsh colours and my hair looks red instead of pink etc. Grr! lol


Aaaanyway...today's plan is to clip the hedge! Yay for mild spring days

 

I can't believe it either, I thought I was just weirdmy mama and dad printed out a lil album too and show it to EVERYONE! My mama keeps pestering me to get big prints sorted. Me and Rance were thinking of putting on our wedding outfits again and taking realli pretty photos down by the lake instead

 

Lol slight continuity fail with the hair

Mine would have been so lovely...the setting was great and the photos themselves are brilliant quality coz my dad is a camera nut... then there's massively uncomfortable and awkward me ruining it by hardly daring to look at the camera and not managing one genuine smile coz of all the shitty photos my mum has taken of me over the years, making me squint into the sun and hold fake smiles forever while she works the camera and always preferring and printing out the ones where I look fat and about 6 years old.


Then the pics from later, just larking around drunk with friends, are lovely, but there isn't one with me and my husband together. Blaaah it's nice to hear other people aren't happy with their wedding pics, I thought it was just me

 

My kittens had their first day out today It was fun.

I lacerated my hands and arms to pieces clipping the (hawthorn) hedge. Bye-bye nice indoor winter hands and hello again to my skanky summer hands
My muscles are now all spasming from their first hard work of the year...can barely hold a cup of tea lol
