eh, it was an ok trip. definitely enjoyable, but i'd have preferred it to be MUCH stronger. i took about 4g as tea, which would normally be decently strong, but not mindblowing (in general i prefer at least 6g freshly dried or about two ounces wet weight...)

the mushrooms i had i bought months ago, though, because i didnt have any clue when i'd know where to get them again.....still dont.....but they weren't kept in the best conditions and i speculate that they lost a lot of potency.

still, it was a good evening

would have prefered something a lot stronger, though.....

Well that doesnt sound very convincing lol! WTF did you get like one of them weak, low visual, isolating trips or something? I know I have before and they do suck. But still, a trips a trip.

 

it takes a lot for me to get visuals. the best visuals i have gotten have been from 2C-E, DPT, salvia, and 2C-B. i've gotten mild visuals from LSD and mushrooms, but unless i get at least 5+g dried from mushrooms, i rarely get anything visual. its much more likely to be a "head trip" - and i speak from the experience of ~100 trips or more on many substances. these mushrooms i had for many months, stored improperly (as a former mushroom cultivator, i have adequate experience with strong fresh mushrooms, and knowledge of how to store them properly in the long term -these were in a non-airtight sandwich baggie, unrefridgerated and often un-airconditioned)

i didn't expect them to be as strong as 4g of freshly dried homegrown mushrooms, but i -hoped- they would be strong enough to make me say i TRIPPED never the less.......


but i didnt. i got a very strong tryptamine -high- but i didnt TRIP.

it was good though. enjoyable. pleasant.

had i had the money for it though, i would have preferred an evening with a bowl of nuggets or hashish and a strong belgian beer or a few Samuel Smiths with a terriffic strong, smooth, full bodied cigar like an Ashton VSG, Ashton Heritage Puro Sol, Opus X, or even just a Padron.....

but i'd been sitting on the mushrooms for ages and figured i needed to use them asap, but still i was waiting for the right time, the time i knew i wanted to trip, etc.......the time didn't come soon enough, and so i was a little disappointed. but it was a good evening, dont get me wrong.

just wish i'd had a proper trip, which for me is hard to come by.

 

Yea I got you, I also have taken at least 100 trips, mostly on mushrooms, and some of them were like this. But I dont know man, I get the most powerful visions and day dreams from mushrooms, even more powerful than L for me. Which is weird becuase I know most people just get fucked in the head from shrooms, but I go on complete insanity joints from them. Like one time, I thought I was a novel writer sitting in the snow late at night, and I wrote a whole bunch of shit down, then I snapped out of it and I was chilling with my girlfriend and another friend of ours, watching t.v. laughing our asses off. I love mushrooms, I would say they are my favorite drug next to opiates and beer

 

I've never had a problem with shrooms. God I love them, they make me feel so good. The last time I used them, I knew it was the last time for a while though. Gotta do 'em again soon.

I don't like anything besides beer, wine, shrooms, and bud. I don't need anything else.

 

Yep, shrooms are wonderful. BUT I like opiates a little more, for different reasons obviously

i think i would have had a much better night with about 20-30mg of 2C-B and 2-3g mushrooms.....still, it WAS nice, and the bubble hash certainly didn't hurt anything!

i've been dog/housesitting for my parents the past week while they were on vacation canoeing in algonquin park in canada (said they may try to bring me back a cuban cigar!) but while they were away and i was temporarily poor i cleaned out what little alcohol they had left....about half a bottle of reunite (gross) and a couple pacificos (gross, but less gross than the steel reserve i stooped down to drinking when i ran out of gear, money, and booze...hey, its 8.1%abv and one buck will get you a 24oz can at the grocery near my apartment....drink it fast and its not TOO bad.....better than king cobra anyway)


but since i cleared them out on alcohol and they havent had any for a week at least, i figured it would be a good gesture to restock them a bit. in place of my dad's 2 pacificos he had left i got him a 550ml bottle of samuel smith's india ale. in place of most of a bottle of reunite, i'm leaving my mom with all but one glass's worth of la vieille ferme '04 rose (much better than reunite, higher alcohol, more drinkable, and not too pricey at 9 bucks a bottle)

i'm finishing up the glass i took for myself to taste right now. i like it better than most roses.....much better than some cheap white zin. a lot of fruit, but not too sweet....a little bit spicy, even.

later on this evening i will have a 75cl bottle of chimay cinq cents and a bottle of the samuel smiths india ale....i got two, one for me, one for the folks.

 

Just starting in on a free case of Becks beer. Yesterday was a bottle of Jack Daniels.

 

wow! a free case of becks???? its not my favorite, but certainly a drinkable go-to beer, particularly in warm weather, and hell.....no beer tastes better than a FREE beer, let alone a free CASE of beer!

I picked up some glenlivit 12 year aged scotch, it's ok. Pretty good I guess. Drank a bottle of moet last night I want to try some good wine.

guess it's like dope....round here you say dope and if you're not a cop you're talking about junk, smack, HEROIN.....but i went to canada some chick wanted to go "find some dope" so we could smoke....i had trouble not laughing or bringing it up

So I brought over a case of Lions Head, a bottle of vodka, and a bottle of white zinfandale. Hip hip horray for birthdays.

 

Well normally when people say gear they mean their shooting stuff, but with the dope thing yea when I hear dope I think heroin, I have one friend who uses 'dope' for weed too... I think it's stupid for him to do that cause concensus around here is dope = heroin.

 

well i guess it all depends on where/when you are..........for instance, i've never heard anyone use the term gear for heroin, or in fact anything other than marijuana or equipment (like tents, clothing, etc.....unrelated in this context)

though i dont hear many people use it in my area, when they do they mean pot/hash. and i've heard more than a few of the uk folks use it in terms of marijuana on the forums, in music, and in movies.

never heard it used by anyone for heroin.

some people here use it for pot, and i like the term.
