Did you find the Red ALe? The bars around here havent had it in months. All they ever have now is Juniper Ale, Mocha Porter, and Hazlenut

I'd make sure in the right order:

"Beer before liqueur you'll never be sicker, Liqueur before beer never fear."

Man, I can attest to that! Hahahaha!

well i'm throwing a party tonight, so i wanted to get some liquor and some beer.....

went with a bottle of buffalo trace bourbon (supposed to be really, really good as well as affordable...only cost me 20 bucks, much cheaper than other supposedly great bourbons....though i'm not too familiar with these drinks....i tasted some of the bottle earlier, and its ok, but i guess bourbon may just not be for me....i may learn to appreciate it, but i'd rather have a bottle of irish whisky or good rum right now)

also got a twelve pack of st pauli girl. don't know how many people are coming over, but this should be a start for the evening at any rate

I'm just sittin here sipping on some 211's right now. I have about 10 of them, and that's plenty when you're drinking 211.

well i'm NEVER touching bourbon again.......

ugh, the only time i've felt worse the next day was drinking a bottle of red wine on an empty stomach when already dehydrated.....

hangovers are VERY rare for me, but todays was a doozy.....

i take it you run that site and are simply spamming us? i dunno....anyway, whether you run that site or not, they have a pretty mediocre selection. sumatran and colombian coffees aren't that good in general. there are some good coffees from sulawesi and guatemala though....kenya produces some great coffee, particularly in small farms around mount kenya....but ethiopia, in my opinion, produces some far superior cups....

in my opinion the best coffee's i've ever tasted have origins in either yemen or ethiopia....though i had a blend of coffees from yemen (middle eastern) and timor (southeast asia) that was very good.

if you DO run that site, i've not tasted the coffees and can't vouch for quality, but i do congratulate the lack of blends with obscured origins...

Once again, I am drinking black can 211's and Rockstar on the side. It's sufficient, when marijuana is unavailble.

my tastes change fairly regularly and quickly.

i used to love sam adams brews....now most of them really arent my favorites. dont get me wrong - for a large, well known american brewery they do pretty well, but usually the beers aren't spectacular.

i think their boston lager is among the best brews of theirs that i've tasted....but only in that it is well made, well balanced....it isn't very often that i choose to actually drink it because it just doesn't suit my tastes perfectly. the other exceptional beer of theirs that i've had, and my favorite, is the black lager. my second favorite would be the brown ale. but now that i've had more great beers and had more freedom to try different things, the rest of their lineup really doesnt wow me anymore. they're mostly good...just not stellar. i'd much rather have a great witbier like blanche de chambly or a good hefeweizen like paulaner any day of the week than any of their wheat based brews (which tend towards the thinner, blander side, in my opinion)

i've not had the cream stout. it -sounds- good, but i wouldn't be surprised if it was just ok.

a really good new find recently was sierra nevada porter. its been so long since i tried the pale ale that i dont remember what its like, but the porter was VERY good and at a reasonable price.

today i may invest in three bottles of delirium noel. it's received terrific ratings at beeradvocate.com and a local shop -for reasons beyond me- is currently carrying it (a christmas beer in summertime?), but when they run out i have no idea when it will be around next....want to get a bottle to try tonight, and two or three bottles to save until christmas eve with my family...depends on how much it costs how much i buy, but i've kept an eye on it and they aren't going anywhere fast. its not in the nicest area, so they tend to sell more budweiser and miller than anything.....

anyway, who knows what i'll drink tonight....i do have a bottle of bass left from last night though. i'm thinking a beer and movie night sounds pretty good to me.

even if i get the delirium noel, i may just save it. the summertime finally got the better of me, and while i love high gravity beers with big, rich malty flavors.....i just need something a bit more refreshing at the moment.

perhaps i'll finally give hoegaarden a try.

I always thought hoegaarden sucks, I love white ales but I definitley dont love that.

Samuel Adams is ok, I like the Cherry Wheat, I hate the lambic though.

As for tonight, Miller High Life. Cheap, plain, and embarrasing, but I no longer can afford my kind of beer ;)
