cool rat,, I thought I was being a little early on the pumpkin ales... drinking some Elysian Pumpkin Ales this evening. tried some magic hat pumpkin but just not spicy enough. the Elysian is decent. I prefer southern tier tho. < not on shelf here yet. or I over looked it.

Very cool, man. I have seen the Elysian Pumpkin Ale but have not gotten around to trying it just yet. Right now I am drinking another pumpkin ale, which is an imperial pumpkin stout from Southern Tier. It's basically Pumking meets imperial stout. Pick it up if you find it.

 

oh yes the warlock. I usually miss out on it. manage to get a 40/bomber of it twice but never anymore than that. it too is delicious.

southern tier disappointed me with some brews. the tangerien, harvest, sun ?<something or other .. but their pumpkin ale are by far the best Ive had .. Weyerbacher imperial pumpkin ale is pretty good too.

my local brewery Riverstown has Headless Willy .. its not bad. but they are just starting out,, maybe this years batch will be better. the brewery serves the willy in a glass with cinnamon and sugar coating on the rim, trying to make up for something that missing I suppose.

 

Got two drinks opened and drinking em back to back back n forth: Bolthouse smoothie and Bolthouse mocca cap protein shake. Mmmmm mmmm

 

Second cup of Joe. Works every time!

 

I make beer, and if I say so myself - quite good at it.
I will have a Honey Pale Ale with lunch...nice lightish, but sweet ale. Only at 5% ABV so not too heavy for warm weather.
With fish tonight I will probably drink a summer wheat I made a couple months ago.

I just finished a Black IPA I made myself. Been a craft enthusiast since around 2000, and a homebrewer for several years.
