Oh Glen, its really miserable here, we had over 600 mm of water coming down not far from here and the next lows are on the way like perls on a string...

its yarrow harvest time here so Im also drinking tea from this stuff.

 

^^^.......hmmmm...... Just made another coffee - Glen, have you ever seen those wine glasses that hold a whole bottle of wine?

Is that what you have in your hand at the moment (or are you just pleased to see me)??

Only Problem Being I Like My Wine Cold, Very Cold, I Even Keep My Red In

The Fridge To The Horror Of Dyed In The Wool "Wine Wankers"...,

And I Feel It Would Get Warm Before I Had Time To Finish It....

Unless Of Course I Train Myself To Drink Faster...:2thumbsup:.

I too like cold red but only something like a Valpolicella, if I were to have something heavier, say a Shiraz, I would like it at room temperature.

So, as I enjoy both, does that make me ''bi''?.......eeek

I've been trying a very, very wet standard Martini lately: 50/50 gin and dry vermouth on ice.
Very good and very effective.

I drink it so that I can have a little more liquid than a standard extra dry martini without getting plastered....but I must say, it's easy to still get plastered if you aren't careful.

(I guess I wasn't careful today.)
