I will check it out. I imagine the paperwork for student loans is a pain in the ass. Good luck.:cheers2: Sounds like you are a busy beaver. It is wonderful to finish something. Such a good feeling.
an interview, an application, and possibly two more applications if I can sacrifice my ego enough, and accept that it is a means to an end.
Is this a rhetorical question? Obviously if they're reading this they're wasting their time on the internet.
Good luck. You will be a real rich man soon.:cheers2: Most people would hate it here. Well so am I. I have like 5 windows open. I got that multitasking thing going on. But in truth I was just posting to be posting. But what did you do today?
I woke up early this morn---did some stuff with the boy, took a bath, went to a job interview, and am back now. Probably in an hour or so I will continue the job hunt then spend some time with the boy when he gets home, show my apartment to some dude looking to rent it out, go hot tubing, and then probably bed.
well my day is already over, it's almost 11 pm here.. I just hung out in the basement full of boxes of old stuff and crap, looked at old pictures, played with my puppy, and read.. too hot to get outside.. maybe I'll go take a bath now and then watch a movie.
Well then for gosh sake, buy a ticket down here. I let people stay at my place all the time. They are stunned by the beauty of the Rainforest. I mean there is life exploding all around. Plus the fact that I cultivate some of the rarest plants on earth. But then it turns night and then they realize that there are things outside that can eat them or kill them. By day I rule the farm. At night it is not my jungle any more. Living in the third world is tough. There are major cultural adjustments. The weather can be real hot. The jungle itself has many dangers. Plus I am in a large remote location. There is no 24 hour restaurant of corner convenience stores right down the street. You have no where near the selection at stores that you do in the states, Paradise has a price. This is the jungle. The resorts and tourist things are far away. I am in the Belize tourists do not see.
Looks like I have been doing that most of the day. Money, adventure and learning. Plus the plants and animals. I am kind of insane. I love my life.
Not even kidding, I should move down there and work for you. Like, if I had an internet connection, and someplace to stay, along with enough food to keep me alive, I'd be golden.
Because a) It goes flat when you pour it into a cup almost immediately, b) They're not cold, and we have a mini fridge that's not big enough to put one in, c) We have no ice to keep it cold. It's a lot easier to buy two cold bottles to share between two people than to have to deal with a giant 2 liter.
That was funny! Rep tag..your it! I am always floored when people say this. I understand it because I am here. But believe me moving down here was no picnic.
Gotcha! I was just thinking of the price factor..cause I know that a 1 liter is 1.69 or so and you can get a 2 liter at the store for 99 cents..still a better deal than a 20oz..I usually drink out of the 2 liters like I would out of a 1 liter or 20 oz..I am a slob like that..chug the milk out of the jug to..always have
Oh, yeah. I completely understand. And I also realize that it's not nearly the fantastic, beautiful, rustic, exotic little picnic that it sounds like. I'd be down there in a second, only thing stopping me (outside of parents, and financial ruin) is the bugs and diseases that I don't want to deal with. Got that right!
The cool thing is that you are young. The whole world is yours. With all the bullshit I go through, somehow as I watch the monkeys in the trees, my problems just slip away. If you want links to photos or my blog, let me know. You are going to have a cool life. I can just feel it.
