What Are You Doing Right Now Or Tomorrow?

Crawl into bed...do some reading, make some small talk with the love of my life, cuddle, fall asleep early

Tomorrow wake up and embrace the assault of finals week. Last week of the semester. Got a couple of catering gigs lined up during the break, but for the most part will be working full time at the restaurant. I love being able to work full time.

Just got back home.
Long day it is now gone midnight!

 

Woke up and is now playing with a very loud purring kitty

 

Just had the cleaners come through my place.

 

sleeping. and logging on to the internet from within one of my dreams.

Just slayed ish onstage earlier. Having a few drinks with my gf who can never be honest about my performances. (You'll be perfect tonight...you did great.)

Gonna head home in a bit and go to bed. I have a final on contemporary American history tomorrow. Then tomorrow evening, the final touches on the community center Christmas party. I want us all to dress like elves but everyone is fighting me on this.

Where's yer Christmas spirit people!!

 

What do you do on stage?

 

Just fed my kitty his dinner.

 

Oh, nothing impressive. I've always fantasized about doing stand up comedy. My gf convinced me a few months ago to actually do it. So I started going to open mic nights here and there. I'm new, I'm raw, sometimes I bomb, sometimes the crowd laughs. But I'm doing it.

Tonight was a decent night. Idk I like making people laugh and I like having a platform where I can say things I would never otherwise say. It's weird. On stage in a room full of people I feel more anonymous than I do talking to someone 1 on 1. Its powerful in a way, and that power has proven to be...alluring.

 

I think that's pretty impressive : )
I'd be terrified.. But yeah, I can imagine it's quite a thrill too.

Thanks...I'm just a nobody and it's not anything I want to pursue beyond a hobby. Wouldn't mind hosting SNL at least once but that's a whole other fantasy
