To clarify, because I believe my post demands it, I do consider the visions and overall experience of DMT to be by far the most bizarre and obscure across the psychedelic kingdom, only that every once in awhile, psilocybin pushes the boundaries and one can enter into the EXACT same head-space as one would encounter on a 'breakthrough' DMT trip. The few times this has happened for me, were what I consider the most horrific experiences in my life. Anymore I believe that too much is indeed just that, and serve a purpose of entertainment for people who enjoy being utterly shocked by nightmares (me, years ago). While I have retained memories of very meaningful personal and natural (and spiritual, or metaphysical) insight, I do think all of these concepts could have been broached eventually by a more gentle approach to psychedelics counterbalanced by studying Jung's archetypes and educating oneself to folklore, mythology and universal symbolism. Not everything buried is harmless and the DMT experience is something which I feel is only healthy if done sparingly and when approached for knowledge. I was foolish enough that I would smoke DMT regularly (10+ times in a day) when I had large batches of it and one day it turned on me, and to this day I half-regret it. If it weren't for it's brief duration I would rather consider that my ultimate 'bad trip', but mercifully it let go of me right at the moment when I thought I could bear no more.

i suppose i may go outside and howl at the sky. if i remember to remember what day it is. i mean if i remember to be keeping track of what day it is when that day comes.

of course, it its anything like most of my days, i will have been spending most of it on the internet, where i'm sure i'll be seeing tons of constant reminders.

of course that could be the day i have a major heart attack from my high blood pressure or something. then i could have my own world end if no one else's did.

but i think that would be to silly for words.

I am hopefully either spending this time with my girls(2 and 5) and my yoga teacher/mentor/adopted mommy...or in a large group of other yogis.

Or maybe, just maybe asleep...that would also be nice.

celebrating what? An alignment of the solstice sun with an arbitrary galactic equator that is almost certainly wrong?

yah. it wouldn't exactly be a galaxy if there were. certainly would be a mind blow though. all the matter in even one galaxy, lined up in a row. make a hell of a magnet, then one hell of a black hole, with a very long string of super novae, one after the other. pop pop pop pop pop pop ...
