The Heart of the Buddha's Teaching by Thich Nhat Hanh The Tao te Ching by Lao Tzu and translated by Yi-Ping Ong
I have this book in my collection of children books. It is one book I still have from my childhood, as i read it as a child.....
Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn - One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich I tried reading some Stephen King over the weekend, but I just couldn't get into it. He is such a mediocre, overrated writer.
Oh and I got Moliere's Tartuffe, I am hoping to be all over that in a few days. I haven't read any Moliere since high school.
Stephen king purportedly uses hack writers to flesh out his plots for him, like a production line.I could never get in to him either.
I'm not reading anything but I'm thinking about getting "The Lost Symbol" by Dan Brown. It's a novel in the same series as the Davinci Code. Same main character. Another one I thought about getting was Moby's "Porcelain: A Memoir". I used to love Moby.
Faith Versus Fact: Why Science and Religion Are Incompatible by Jerry Coyne. Haven't gotten very far into it yet, it seems pretty heavy.
the only thing by stephen king that I could ever get into was the dark tower series, and even then I think it is overrated. I really liked the first book, but the rest of the series was 'meh'.
