It's good. The beginning was some of his strongest writing because it moved like a Hemingway novel. I get the life filled with regret. And of course the gentrification which is everywhere these days (making my rent continually go up). I'm only 200 pages into it, so I'm hoping to see a little more momentum.

I'm only about 30 pages in right now. It's been a busy week. Definitely enjoying it so far though. I think the character development will be stellar.

I have two going right now.. The Annotated H.P. Lovecraft & a two volume biography about Franz Kafka. Both long, slow reads in my opinion but I'm muddling through them.

The Colorado Kid has very little in common with the tv series Haven.

Welcome to the Monkey House=Vonnegut and Dark Rivers of the Heart=Koontz.

( when I really get cranked up, I can finish one in a day or a day and a half.)
