As I understood it is the same for trams now. But they don't have trams in the northern part of the country so I rarely make use of them.
You should look it up to be certain but I think you can throw your strippencard in the bin. Maybe you can still use them because it is a transition period for awhile. You would have to buy a disposable chip card now, or if you're in the netherlands on holiday for a longer while and plan to use the public transportation system more often there's the anonymous chip card you could use for awhile... If you don't pay attention to how it works you're bound to screw up somewhere though. We have different (privatized) public transportation companies and you have to check out and in again if you go from one train/bus to a line of another company. Of course they fine you if they catch you being clueless. It's quite ridicilous. Old people have a hard time getting used to it too :p

    Hello,

hm, in this case I will sell the strippencard on ebay. I'm quite sure someone will pay a premium price for it ;).

Sounds like a lot of fun. I guess it's not only hard for old people. I've spent hours in front of ticket machines figuring out what buttons to press get the right ticket for my target location...

    Regards

Haha yeah, it's only in dutch if I recall right? Stupid anyway in a little country like this (with lots of tourists). And hey, selling it on ebay is worth a try :p

    Hello,

you mean the labels on the ticket machines? That's okay, I can handle that with a little bit of thinking. I was thinking about my experiences with a ticket machine in Germany recently. The machine had three columns of buttons. The columns started somewhere at the hight of my chest and went down below of my knees (remember I'm a tall guy). To get the ticket I had to press a button in the upper third, then one in knees high and then a commit button. To figure that out I had to read nearly every damn button, esp. the lower one was hard to find. WTF?

I just have to write statements like 'as new', 'worked last time I checked' etc ;).

    Regards
    Gyro

A selection of pieces from Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari's "Anti-Oedipus: Capitalism and Schizophrenia",which seeks to challenge the orthodoxy of conventional psychoanalysis by the insertion of radical strategies of desire-making and constructive production.

    Teaching dog obedience Classes.

It's not what I was really looking for, I wanted a handbook on how to train the dog, not the class. :D
