What are the guidelines for new members?

And in a way it helps everybody. The ones that want to start shit find easy targets, who are really calling for it, and once they've filled their need, or annoyed the powers that be, they leave. The easy target either learns to lighten up or leaves.

The rest of us sit back and laugh while we wait for the trash to weed itself out and the up and coming members to come up.

Hmmm....I think everything I wanted to say has already been stated in this thread. Damn me for always entering on like the 7th page. My only advice to newbies is pretend like you belong and don't act like a newbie and you won't get treated like one.

I remember how it was before RT got closed for that time it was closed. But barely. I almost think I like it better now, but I do miss some of the people who went bye bye forever.

 

That's really the biggest truth of it. We all started growing up a bit more. Most of us got here some time real close to our twenties. Many were on their way in... some where dead in the middle, and others were just leaving...... their twenties that is.

It's a very young crowd compared to most places I frequent in every day living. Work, coffee shops, grocery stores, etc. We all are the immediate future. Some of us more immediate than the others, but overall everybody has just gotten older and wiser, generally.

Well, from what I've seen I wouldn't say anyone got wiser but I wasn't here years ago, you all might have been extremely unwise.

I have never been ganged up on really. I merely got into a heated argument with Ryan (MadCrap) a few years ago in which if I recall correctly Adam occasionally took my side and occasionally took Ryan's side. With due reason though, I was right in some instances, but for the most part I was wrong. I generally do not take things here too seriously but that particular night I was flying off the handle for some stupidass reason and Madcrap called me on it.

Truth be told I don't even remember what it was all about now. Not important by any means, clearly.

I would sure hope anyone that was around at that time realized that I was showing a weakness at the moment and not behaving in my true fashion. We've gotten along fine since.

I've never really had any kind of disagreement with anyone else that I recall. I guess I am overdue then. so please, feel free to gang up on my if you must. I'm waiting for yas.
