i read the first post and thought gosh! ludacris and lil wayne are like the absolute last thing i would want to listen to when i'm high, haha. if you like hip hop you should check out something mellow like buck 65 or maybe eyedea and abilities. eyedea raps about some pretty trippy, philosophical stuff on some songs. it's like nerd-rap. like what other rapper is gonna be talking about quantum physics? it's fantastic.

 

Tool, Pink Floyd, A Perfect Circles "Counting Bodies Like Sheep" (most of their music really,) Dave Matthews, and Primus. These are my present faves.

It depends for me, if I'm on my own and I really want to chill what I normally do is go to my room, put on some incense and listen to Pink Floyd's Shine on you crazy diamond, but if I'm with other people and partying, anything upbeat like AC/DC or Guns N' Roses.

 

I got stoned back in grade 12 one time and my friend showed me that song and it got me into all the old 60's and 70's music. I love it all now, from Pink Floyd, to the Beatles, too many bands to name. My favourite band is Led Zeppelin by far, SO god damn good. Jimmy Paige shreds like a mother fucker.

I love a lot of rap too, all the west coast stuff from the 90s, I love Eminem too, Cypress Hill has some funky shit; Wu Tang has some crazy songs, their style is so much different.
