What are small things that make you happy?

actual pine needles, on a light breeze. wild blackberries just becoming ripe, a long way from any road or place they might have been sprayed.
bay leaves fresh off the tree. and wild mint.

 

A crackling fireplace on a cold day of fall. Getting very relevant again...

 

Getting away from it all for a little while.

 

A packet of cheese biscuits, a wedge of Stilton cheese and a glass of Port to wash it all down !!!

 

well the bus strike seems to be over. not so small of a thing maybe. very definately makes me happy.
