What Are/ Have You Been Doing Today?

Busy day at work for once. And just popped to Boots to pick up some T-Gel. Dr. B just isn't doing it for me no more

 

Last couple of days have been.. meh. Spent 3 nights at adam's house- I don't sleep amazingly well sharing a bed (fibromyalgia makes sure of that) so I haven't had much sleep, plus no time at all for relaxing me time. Seems like I've only got 2 or 3 days in the hot shop over the next 2 weeks to make all my pieces, which I think isn't enough but my tutors are saying it should be ok so meh. Recorded vocals for my bff's music course, quite pleased with it, looking forward to seeing the final version. Left all my uni work at uni, so tonight I think I'll paint.

Also thinking about an outfit for a 20s/30s ball on saturday. 4 days, no money, any one got any ideas? ^^

 

Today, I learned never to give your email address to strangers who say they're also photographers and have their work going up in an exhibition.

These people usually produce shitty shots with a point and shit and by exhibition they mean they've secured a weeks slot at their local village library in 9x6" format that anyone can get as long as they shoot local subjects and won't stop asking you to help them buy a dSLR around christmas time

 

Slept in and working on a piece for a portfolio.. determined for early admissions in to animation. Just graduated my art program recently and wondering what I should wear to grad. Drinking coffee, haven't eaten yet but I'm thinking bagel. My hair is an absolute mess- I love it.

 

there was a student protest at my uni against the installation of a new Hydroelectric. It was a mess, students throwing stones and runing, police men shooting tear gas bombs ... my head and throat are killing me right now.
Also tomorrow dreads will be 8 months

 

Slept in this morning by accident and missed my first class.

By 'a Hydroelectric' do you mean a dam? Why were they protesting?

 

ive got a job induction today. i is nervoos.

 

Just had an interview, no idea how it went, they seemed to be enamoured with my perceived technical knowledge of things but then on the other had office workers don't really like me, I think they are intimidated by my non-atrophied muscles and my wanton use of facial hair.

yep, that's what I ment. The dam would be placed on the Patagonia, and would cross several natural reserves and farmable land causing damage to the ecosystem, plus all the energy would go to the big companies not to the people. Imo if we need renewable energy we have a huge desert were the we could have solar panels which is less damaging

 

Ah I see, I hiked past a hydroelectric dam once, I thought it was fantastic. But I was never attached to the land that was there before hand so can't really say if it should be there.

 

Dont know to be honest, company that does web hosting / content creation for e-commerce website that wants a dogsbody to run one of their subsidiary e-commerce websites. They drop-ship IT equipment / components as far as I can tell, they seem to think I'm an electronics whiz so I just rolled with it, got to be better than mopping floors.

today i got offered a second job at my local peacocks, and am going to hang out with some mates tonight and play little big planet and guitar hero :2thumbsup:
